The Hummingbird Chateau has multiple indoor and outdoor options for both ceremony and reception. Included in the venue rental is barn wood tables, white farm house chairs for reception, antique white folding chairs for outdoor ceremonies and pews for indoor ceremonies. With many more rental options available depending on your vision for the "Big Day"! We are in the process of completing renovations to the barn and grounds, more pictures to come! “The moment we first toured The Hummingbird Chateau we fell in love and knew this was where we were meant to get married. Working with Angela and the owners were amazing. Went above and beyond and made our vision come to life with the expansive decor they offer and her creative eye! I can’t recommend them enough! Beautifully unique venue, stunning decor to choose from their vast inventory, the eclectic colorful farmhouse has an amazing photo opportunity in every nook and cranny! The bridal suite is gorgeous and relaxing and the grooms area was spectacular. I could go on and on raving about everything this venue offers. We were married in one of the outdoor locations by the greenhouse and it was perfect (the rain plan ceremony spot was a stunning back up option-so many great areas to choose from). The Hummingbird Chateau is a must see! - You’ll fall in love just like we did :)”

“Riverside on the Potomac was the perfect venue for our wedding. The staff was extremely responsive, timely, and direct in their communication, making planning a breeze. The venue itself is simply stunning, with beautiful river views and lush gardens that made for a gorgeous backdrop to our big day. Considering the beautiful setting and high level of service, we felt the pricing was very fair. The team went above and beyond to ensure we could utilize the entire property to bring our vision to life. They took care of every last detail and there wasn't a single hiccup all day or night thanks to their diligent coordination. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and highly recommend Riverside on the Potomac to any couple looking for a beautiful and seamless wedding experience.”

The Manor Houses date back to 1776 when the original farm was a land grant from the King of England. The farm boast many options for wedding flow and design of your event. We book one wedding a weekend so there is no stressful time window for your wedding day. All spaces and buildings are yours too utilize for one flat, transparent cost based on time of year. Choose from the Orchard Barn, Carriage House, Tented Overlook, The Green and the School House to orchestrate your perfect day. Photo op locations abound including numerous bridges, gates, stone walls, mature trees and landscaping, a pond, and a creek to name but a few. #ourrusticisreal

“We booked a tour with Cold Saturday Farm on a whim, but holy cow am I glad that we did! We met with Brittany on a pretty dreary day in the winter, and even then I could see the beauty in the venue. It truly is a blank canvas that you can really make your own. Plus, the venue checked all the boxes that were super important to us: onsite getting ready spaces for both us, free onsite parking, guest tables and chairs included, and access to the venue all day. For the price, it was a great value. Brittany did end up leaving Cold Saturday, and we do wish that had been proactively communicated to us, but her replacement, Meredith, was fantastic, especially because she started the week before our wedding (I'm pretty sure we were her first wedding at the venue). But she was incredibly helpful and friendly--we actually had guests come up to us and tell us how awesome she was! The only other thing I wish we had known ahead of time was that the getting ready room the guys used didn't have any furniture. It was still being worked on during our tours, so we didn't actually see the room until the day of. So the room may have furniture at some point. Overall, we loved Cold Saturday Farm. It is truly a hidden gem (none of our vendors have ever worked there before but all of them said they loved it), so I really love that it was a pretty unique and beautiful place to have our wedding.”
