The LODGE is our latest addition, which includes 14 studio hotel rooms and 16 suites. All spacious suites are equipped with kitchens and have the ability to adjoin to a studio for families or larger parties. Half of the suites are western views with balconies. All rooms are equipped with espresso machines, fine linens, and heated floors in bathrooms. The lodge has a top floor banquet hall featuring breathtaking sunset views of the Allegheny Mountains. Historic Waverly Mansion is located in Marriottsville, Maryland. This 1760's era estate is a the perfect setting of an intimate garden wedding and reception! The Mansion and property is owned and operated by Howard County Government's Recreation and Parks Department and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Historic Waverly Mansion is considered an outdoor venue. The property includes beautifully maintained gardens, the historic Mansion, and rustic barn. During our peak rental season, a 60x40ft event tent is included in wedding rentals. Historic Waverly provides the location and property amenities while the Permit Holder provides all vendors, including an approved full-service Caterer and Wedding Coordinator. Historic Waverly Mansion is a Howard County Park. Howard County Recreation and Park guidelines apply to all scheduled events and are different from privately owned venues.
