Drumore Mill is a different world. It is nestled in a corner of the most rustic township in Amish Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The mill was built in 1752 as a sawmill and a grist mill. It sits in a hollow with 30 acres of tall cliffs and old trees to provide privacy, warmth, and natural beauties. There is a pristine creek that meanders through the property. The Fishing Creek supports native trout and other rare small fishes. The waterfall is adjacent to the buildings. There is a hiking trail within the property. There is wetland and much more. The LODGE is our latest addition, which includes 14 studio hotel rooms and 16 suites. All spacious suites are equipped with kitchens and have the ability to adjoin to a studio for families or larger parties. Half of the suites are western views with balconies. All rooms are equipped with espresso machines, fine linens, and heated floors in bathrooms. The lodge has a top floor banquet hall featuring breathtaking sunset views of the Allegheny Mountains. Historic Waverly Mansion is located in Marriottsville, Maryland. This 1760's era estate is a the perfect setting of an intimate garden wedding and reception! The Mansion and property is owned and operated by Howard County Government's Recreation and Parks Department and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Historic Waverly Mansion is considered an outdoor venue. The property includes beautifully maintained gardens, the historic Mansion, and rustic barn. During our peak rental season, a 60x40ft event tent is included in wedding rentals. Historic Waverly provides the location and property amenities while the Permit Holder provides all vendors, including an approved full-service Caterer and Wedding Coordinator. Historic Waverly Mansion is a Howard County Park. Howard County Recreation and Park guidelines apply to all scheduled events and are different from privately owned venues. The Howard County Conservancy is a countryside wedding venue located just 15 minutes from Columbia and Ellicott City. With multiple indoor and outdoor event spaces, and 8 ceremony location options, this nature center is available to host a range of wedding celebrations. Couples are sure to find an idyllic location for their ceremony and/or reception. Situated between Baltimore and DC, HCC offers a tranquil setting and captivating natural scenes as a backdrop. Exchange vows embraced by abundant Maryland flora and fauna. For couples looking for a rustic feel, Montjoy Barn is the perfect place to hold romantic ceremonies and beautiful wedding photos. For celebrations held indoors, The Gudelsky Environmental Education Center can accommodate anywhere between 50 and 200 people, dependent on the selected event layout. This building offers a space flooded with natural light and exposed wooden beams. Rentals include usage of a spacious covered terrace and the Clark Native Plant Garden.
