Nestled amongst thirty tranquil acres of our lush wooded private property, The Emerald Forest provides a stunning backdrop for a strikingly serene and cherished micro-wedding or elopement. We are just four miles east of downtown Redmond and fifteen miles east of downtown Seattle. Within the forest is the Emerald Forest Theater, built-in 2018 by Treehouse Master Pete Nelson. The Theater is a one-of-a-kind outdoor climb-in movie theater made up of a large seating area 15' off the ground, four box seat open-air pods, two "Kodama zome" elevating loungers (tree-levators!), two stories of hammock-like dream nets high in the trees, and projection onto the 16' screen hanging in the trees. Our King County Designated Historic Landmark farm sits on 18.1 acres on the north side slope of the Happy Valley 2 miles east of Redmond on SR 202. Established in 1907 by Walter Cooper, the uncle of the famous actor Gary Cooper, the dairy farm operated for 60 years before switching to beef cattle in the late 60s. The farmstead encompasses a gambrel-roofed hay barn built in 1925, followed by a grain silo and milk barn built in 1953.

Snohomish Red Barn Events is a unique, vintage-style wedding venue located in Snohomish, Washington available in June, July, and August. We have 2 sheltered buildings, our rustic Harvest Barn, strung with twinkle-lights and chandeliers, and our open-air Pole Barn for late night dancing and drinks. We also have 2 outdoor garden sites, used for ceremonies, parties, receptions, and cocktail hours. Woodland Meadow Farms, a first generation farming operation focused on the local economy and sustainable living, started in the wedding and event venue business with an offbeat wedding. In 2009, owner John Beal, a professional landscaping contractor, as well a longtime pro dirt bike racer, landscaped an aging tree farm to accommodate his sister's medieval-themed wedding. After he hosted that, he was encouraged to make it a full-fledged business and 2010 became the first season of weddings at Woodland Meadow Farms. Not just a farm. Not just a venue. Always an adventure!
