Our King County Designated Historic Landmark farm sits on 18.1 acres on the north side slope of the Happy Valley 2 miles east of Redmond on SR 202. Established in 1907 by Walter Cooper, the uncle of the famous actor Gary Cooper, the dairy farm operated for 60 years before switching to beef cattle in the late 60s. The farmstead encompasses a gambrel-roofed hay barn built in 1925, followed by a grain silo and milk barn built in 1953.

Woodland Meadow Farms, a first generation farming operation focused on the local economy and sustainable living, started in the wedding and event venue business with an offbeat wedding. In 2009, owner John Beal, a professional landscaping contractor, as well a longtime pro dirt bike racer, landscaped an aging tree farm to accommodate his sister's medieval-themed wedding. After he hosted that, he was encouraged to make it a full-fledged business and 2010 became the first season of weddings at Woodland Meadow Farms. Not just a farm. Not just a venue.
