We had the most incredible experience hosting our wedding at the Carriage house! It has been taken over by Prime Hospitality catering who did an amazing job from start to finish! Our guests raved over the food, waitstaff, and bartenders! Katie and her team took care of every single aspect of our wedding which allowed my husband and I, our families, and our bridal party to be stress free and enjoy the day! I could go on and on about how amazing our wedding day was! Not a single thing went wrong, Katie and her team decorated the venue beautifully, the service was fantastic, and our guests continue to reach out about how beautiful the wedding venue was. It was better than I could’ve ever expected! I hope that the Carriage House starts to see an increase in weddings at their venue because they are truly amazing at their job! Katie coordinated and helped me with planning the wedding out from day 1. She worked relentlessly behind the scenes to ensure we had a great day. The food was the best wedding meal I have ever had and I’m not just saying that because I had my wedding here. The restaurant associated with the caterers “Brandywine Prime” makes amazing food. I will admit when initially wedding planning I was unsure of the carriage house due to the lack of online presence and photos of recent weddings. It is truly a hidden gem and definitely worth considering for your wedding day!!

With our unique grounds and a venue that exhibits the perfect combination of rustic charm and modern elegance, we offer the perfect setting to bring your dream wedding to life!

Wow, where do I even begin. Being also in the wedding industry, I knew it was not going to be easy being on the other side as a client. We toured only one other venue before the Manor House at Prophecy Creek Park. When we arrived in the parking lot, I turned to my now husband and said "this is it, this is the venue" before we even walked in. Kerry's presentation blew us away and the next day we signed the contract in January 2019 for April 17th, 2020. It is the perfect balance of elegance for people who envision that outdoor wedding in a manor house but have the rustic accent barn next door. Also the entire landscaping, ponds and my favorite, the white lamp posts are so unique. Comparing prices to other venues, we were VERY happy with what is included in this venue regarding food, the separate bride and groom suite, grounds, parking and more. The tasting was wonderful as well as the final meeting leading up to our April date. I had a specific vision and they really worked with me and listened to what we wanted for our wedding day. Unfortunately as many other couples this year, we had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID19. Let me tell you... some of my clients have been jumping through hurdles, paying thousands, in legal battles with their venue with rescheduling etc. That was completely the opposite experience for us with The Manor House at Prophecy Creek Park. They were kind, understanding, gave us quickly the available date and made the process easy. Leading up to our newly rescheduled date, we had many talks with Catherine (who is AMAZING) regarding their COVID19 policies, steps we can encourage social distancing and cleaning. We ended up have 108 guests on 8/30/2020 and the best wedding day we could have despite rescheduling and replanning. Not only the beauty of this venue being outdoor/indoor and the STUNNING grounds, but our guests felt so comfortable with the tent sides being up and able to walk around the grounds. Our guests RAVED about the food at cocktail hour and dinner. The bartenders were efficient and there was never a long wait at the bar. The venue was clean and even in the suites, we truly felt like we owned the house for that day. Myself and my photography team has worked at the Manor House as vendors since our wedding and are continuously happy with the respect we are treated with and the great experience they provide our couples. I could continue on and on. You will not regret choosing this venue and staff for your wedding day. We cannot thank the Fair family and their staff enough for all they have done to make our wedding day/ process easy, beautiful and safe. I look forward to continue working with them professionally as well!

We had the most amazing wedding at Normandy Farms and The Belle, and I can't express enough how incredible the entire experience was. Absolutely fell in love with the Morris Arboretum the first time we viewed it as a possible wedding venue in February. There were no beautiful f flowers bloomed and the trees had lost their leaves BUT it was still perfect and stunning. The day of our wedding as we drove up to the venue I started to cry bc it was so much more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Not only is it perfect scenic view but the crew omg even better, they have your back, they make it look effortless, it’s just the perfect most magical place.

Curtis Arboretum is everything we were looking for in our wedding venue!! I was amazed and in awe the first time we saw it in person, & continued to be every time we went back. From the ceremony space under the picturesque pergola, to the detail in the music hall ceiling, this venue is one of our dreams. I immediately loved how our day would flow perfectly, moving from the lawn ceremony area to cocktail hour in the garden, to dinner & dancing in the connected tent & hall. From the staff to the galleries to the grounds, the Alverthorpe Manor/Abington Art Center was the perfect place to host our wedding. We enjoyed being able to get ready on site and have the ceremony and reception all in one place. Our guests enjoyed the local art and sculpture garden. It was a uniquely wonderful venue for us as a couple who didn't want a "traditional" wedding venue, and as foodies for whom it was really important to be able to bring in our own caterers! Mr. Renner made the decision to keep the original industrial scale for weighing wool, which you can still see inside our front foyer. Our first batch of Manayunk Brewing Company beer was tapped on October 17, 1996. Since then, we have brewed more than 600 different varieties of beers, and have been selling these sought-after styles all around Philadelphia and New Jersey. Our brewers continue to explore new takes on classic styles, especially when it comes to sour ales and India Pale Ales. You will no doubt see our delivery truck bringing goods to happy customers throughout the Philadelphia region! Mr. Renner’s daughter took over the building in 2004 and runs the restaurant and brewery along with her business partner Mike Rose. We had our wedding here on 9/29/23 and our wedding day was completely stress free and everything was perfect! Deyna and Paris went above and beyond throughout the entire planning process and helped us with anything we needed along the way. The food was delicious and our guests came up to us multiple times throughout the night to let us know. The signature cocktails we selected also tasted great and the service was top notch. It rained on our wedding day so we did not get to use the deck but the space held all of our 110 guests just fine. We did get to do our first look and pictures outside and the scenery is perfect for wedding photos. Highly recommend Manayunk Brewing Company for your wedding! - Michael & Jordan.

Appleford was the perfect venue and our day was in a word - surreal. The grounds were breathtaking (as usual), the house impeccable, and our guests were delighted to stroll around the gardens, play games, dance, explore the house, and eat eat EAT!!! Lisa has been immensely helpful since our first meeting and is the fastest email responder- which this bride appreciated! Mary was very kind, enthusiastic and helpful. Stunning venue - the display garden is truly a one in a million place to get married. We initially planned to have our cocktail hour outdoors as we wanted to highlight the reflecting pool but unfortunately the weather didn’t permit - we had cocktail hour inside and it was still incredible. The whole team there was impressive and the food was truly delicious. My standards for wedding food are pretty low but it was excellent, and many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had (and they’d eat it again if they could). The whole team was lovely to work with. So, so glad we got married here!!

My fiancé and I were looking for a rustic wedding venue, not a ballroom, preferably a venue with space to be outside (weather permitting). We visited a few options in the Philly area and fell in love with the John James Audubon Center! The space offers SO many options for an outdoor or indoor ceremony. They host receptions in the pavilion which is open with huge windows and firepits outside! The site is beautiful, and everyone we’ve worked with has been immensely helpful! After officially booking for our October 2024 wedding, we planned to visit with our parents. What was originally intended to be a quick stroll around the grounds turned into an impromptu tour with the venue manage. She answered all of our parents' questions and even brought out photo books of previous weddings for us to flip through together. With the wedding right around the corner now, we could not be more thrilled with our decision and can't wait to be there next month to celebrate our big day!

Terrain Gardens is a stunning venue that perfectly catered to our every need. It felt just right for our wedding with 90 guests with both beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces that were easily customizable to align with our vision. We played lawn games during the cocktail hour and reception, and we were able to tailor our reception floor plan to create an atmosphere that truly reflected us. We opted to add many florals through Design by Terrain, but even with fewer decorations, it would still feel complete. The food was standout and was a highlight for us and our guests. The steamed broccoli hors d'oeuvre may sound simple, but it became a crowd favorite. The gazpacho shooters also were a hit. Our grazing table was not only plentiful and delicious but also looked gorgeous! The entree options were delicious as well and received many compliments. We found at our tasting there was a lot of variety from more traditional options to more experimental options so most couples can find something that will fit them. The venue took our guests' dietary needs seriously, accommodating our best man's severe allergies with ease. The late-night pizza and cookie favors were also a huge hit! The staff at Terrain Gardens was exceptional. We worked closely with our venue coordinator, Olivia, for six months leading up to the wedding. She addressed every question and eased all our concerns. On the big day, the staff was polite, attentive, and hardworking. Our attendant, Stephanie, made sure we were never without food or drink and guided us seamlessly throughout the day. The bar staff was quick and efficient, and our signature cocktail received rave reviews. What truly sets Terrain apart is their commitment to ensuring that both the bride and groom enjoy their special day just as much as their guests. After the ceremony, we were escorted to the bridal suite, where we were greeted with a delightful display of our hors d'oeuvres and a mini version of our grazing table. This moment allowed us to unwind and savor a few precious minutes together before rejoining our guests—one of my favorite memories from the day. At the end of the night, the staff thoughtfully packaged our personal items and provided to-go boxes filled with an extra serving of each of our entrees.

I could go on and on about how fabulous the entire crew at Aldie Mansion was! From the first tour we had with Kim to our planning experience with Nicole to our actual wedding weekend/day with Desiree, every step of the way was done to perfection. Kim Bates was extremely helpful at the beginning, answering my many questions and preparing us for our food tasting and overall event planning. Nicole Potts was the best event designer we could have asked for. She made our day so special, and truly took care of us at each and every turn. Nicole’s attention to detail is unmatched - I truly never felt stressed, because I knew Nicole always had my back. We needed a few accommodations for some of our guests and she was more than happy to help out to ensure all our guests had the best time. Nicole and the team also made sure that our Italian Cookie Table was displayed and executed perfectly – not a small ask, and it was down exactly as we imagined! At our rehearsal and wedding day, Desiree made sure everything was executed to perfection. She continuously checked in on us to bring us food or drinks and make sure we had everything we needed/wanted. Because we didn’t do a first look, we weren’t able to catch our cocktail hour, but Desiree made sure all our hors d'oeuvres were in the bridal suite waiting for us, and made sure to give us time just us between the ceremony reception. It was so thoughtful, and we truly appreciated that time together (and the food). Speaking of the food, JAM catering hit it out of the park! Everything was delicious – we looked around at one point, and dinner plates were completely empty! Aldie Mansion and the team at JAM made our day so beyond special. We are so glad we chose this venue – it was an absolute dream!

The Hotel Palomar went above and beyond for our wedding weekend in the spring. We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and morning after brunch as well as our room block at the hotel. The even coordinator, Erin S. and the entire team involved went above and beyond every step of the way. Five months before our wedding, I had to have major surgery and quarantine for two – three months after. I was unable to attend our food tasting but my fiancé and both sets of parents went on my behalf. Erin was not only understanding but supportive as my own family and friends were – checking in and celebrating with me after the surgery. When the tasting came, the chef sent home full-sized portions for me to try at home. This was in addition to the full-sized ones my family tried as well. The entire staff was there to answer any questions from me or our family. We had several dietary restrictions which Erin coordinated with the chef on our behalf to make sure those guests were included without having to worry. We had a memorial table as well as several things to be set out (guest book, favors, name cards, etc.). I gave all these items to the team and it was fully taken care of for me and they even knew which favors were to be for gluten free guests. Erin provided a list of pre-approved vendors they had worked with before (we didn’t have to use these) and we ended up using a lot of them. Erin coordinated with them directly as needed, photography locations for if it rained and DJ timeline. Due to the top tier efforts of the entire hotel, we were AHEAD of schedule the entire weekend which really allowed everyone to be fully present. My bridal party and I were in the suite for preparations and they continued to go above and beyond. We had a team member bring us our food and coffee order and he was so accommodating. He brought iced coffee when I mentioned that’s my preferences and we talked about our pets since I had my dog with me (as did several of our guests). Our guests were also well taken care of – from unpacking cars for their stays to helping our vendors get to their locations. I would sit here and list every name of every person that I felt were stars but honestly, it was the entire team. Everyone I encountered the whole time was a five star person. I cannot recommend this location enough for any occasion including just a regular weekend stay in Philadelphia.
