“As soon as we arrived, we were so glad that we had chosen Milton Ridge and knew that we had made the right choice. All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. They were with us through every step of our wedding day with lots of support and smiles. The cottage for getting ready is very cute, the chapel is beautiful, and the reception hall is great as well. They have many services included in their various wedding packages like catering, DJ, photographer, and cake. They also have outside vendors that they work with frequently, such as hair and make-up and a florist, who are all wonderful. They are inclusive, and they are supportive of LGBT weddings. My now wife and I are part of the LGBT community, and we were treated very well by the entire team. We were able to have our wedding exactly how we wanted, and they worked with us on every detail. On the day, they had the entire day scheduled and kept us on track, which is actually so necessary and helpful on a day when you're trying to do so many things. “I’ve photographed several weddings at Mountain Run Winery and it is definitely one of my favorite venues! The outdoor ceremony site has a gorgeous view and there are ENDLESS options for photo locations around the property. It’s a photographer’s dream! Even on a rainy day, the barn and covered front porch of the farmhouse are great backup options for the ceremony and for photos. The owners are amazing and my clients have all loved their experience with them. I’ve visited the winery on non-wedding days also – the wines are wonderful and they’ve got so many fun events!”

“From the initial meeting with Allyson and Pat to the planning working with Old House was amazing. They helped anywhere we asked. Suggestions when we needed it and encouraged us as we shared our vision. Ryan even stepped in to be our officiant. The venue is gorgeous and far enough from DC to not have traffic issues but close enough to make out of town travel easy. The house gives the bridal party so much space to relax and get ready. Finally they have amazing wines, beers and spirts available. Can not say thank you enough.”
