Can we bring our own alcohol?

YES! You may bring your own alcohol. You will need to purchase a Liquor License from https://www.abc.virginia.gov/licenses/get-a-license/banquet-licenses (which provides an affordable option for your day)!

Do you have bathrooms onsite?

Accepted Answer

YES! The cottage has several bathrooms which are to only be used for the bride & groom and several guests. There are TWO outside portable restrooms included in the package. (If you would prefer to upgrade this area, we are happy to accomodate).

Question 3

Is a day of planner a requirement for a wedding at LeFay Cottage?

Accepted Answer

YES! We are very accommodating and flexible with our couples, to use their own Planner, or we can certainly provide recommendations. We know how stressful it can be on the day of, and our WISH is that your day is perfect. We have MANY wonderful Day of Planners that we have worked with in the past.

Can you offer a list of B&B's, Airbnb's & Hotels nearby for our guests to stay?

YES! Nestled at the foothills of the Blue Ridge, we are located in a beautiful part of the Virginia countryside in Rappahannock and are just twenty minutes away from the Thornton River Gap entrance of The Shenandoah National Park. (Which our Brides love the option for pictures)! Your guests can stay in B&B's & Airbnb's in the surrounding area and we will provide you referrals. Additionally, Warrenton & Culpeper are just a 25 minute drive away, where there are a number of hotels that can offer block or individual bookings or The Inn at Little Washington, a Relais & Chateaux property is nearby. Trolley options can also be provided for transport

Can we bring our own caterer?

YES! If you would like to use your own Caterer, we just ask that you provide a COI (Certificate of Insurance). Or we have many options for wonderful Caterers depending on your budgetary needs.

Question 6

Do you have on site parking?

Accepted Answer

YES! We have FIVE acres of property and have specific spots that you and your guests may park your cars. We do have handicap parking which is close to the cottage entrance.

How do we get to your venue from the nearest airport?

LeFay Cottage at Little Washington is located one hour away from Dulles International Airport. You can reach our venue by private car or taxi.
