The historic Murphey School auditorium is the home of Raleigh's innovative Burning Coal Theatre Company. In 1960, the auditorium was the site of the vote to desegregate the City School System, so it is one of the most important and historic rooms in the city.

NC Museum of Natural Sciences is a historic wedding venue located in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. We pride ourselves on being the largest natural history museum in the Southeast. In the 1950s it became the Ford Sander's Auto Dealership. Artspace renovated the building in 1986 to be an innovative hub for creative expression in the heart of our state's capital. Today, Artspace welcomes 30,000 visitors annually through First Friday art walks, Family Days, Summer Art Camps and more.
