Inside, there is plenty of space for a reception where parties are able to partake in a sit-down occasion, curated entirely by the in-house culinary team. Tappo at the Museum is a breathtaking, Neoclassical-style event venue in Buffalo, NY, for weddings and special occasions. This historic facility served as a host for the Pan-American Exposition at the turn of the century. Make your milestone a moment everyone will remember at this one-of-a-kind location. Over thousands of square feet, we can accommodate 200 guests for sit down dinners and has a fine selection of indoor and outdoor spaces. Get started on your love story with an outdoor ceremony on our Terrace or indoors in our Penfold Gallery. Afterwards, head outdoors to our partly covered Portico where guests can enjoy cocktail hour. The State Court Room, complete with a sleek black floor, is ideal for lavish dinner parties. The Loft @ Chandler is nestled in historic Black Rock, and features a modern industrial aesthetic, freshly brewed Thin Man beer, and delicious food by Tappo Pizza, made on site in our dedicated events kitchen. An outdoor ceremony location is available - a cool community courtyard, surrounded by red brick buildings, and home to vibrant mural artistry. It is just across the street from the Loft. We rent chairs for this space at $4 per chair, and there is a $150 site fee for the courtyard. If your group is under a certain size (appox. 80 ppl), you may marry in the Loft space itself. Winter weddings may marry in the loft, with a small amount of chairs and standing room for ceremony.
