About this venue

Tappo at the Museum is a breathtaking, Neoclassical-style event venue in Buffalo, NY, for weddings and special occasions. This historic facility served as a host for the Pan-American Exposition at the turn of the century. Make your milestone a moment everyone will remember at this one-of-a-kind location. Over thousands of square feet, we can accommodate 200 guests for sit down dinners and has a fine selection of indoor and outdoor spaces. Get started on your love story with an outdoor ceremony on our Terrace or indoors in our Penfold Gallery. Afterwards, head outdoors to our partly covered Portico where guests can enjoy cocktail hour. The State Court Room, complete with a sleek black floor, is ideal for lavish dinner parties. The team can set up more tables and chairs upstairs at the Mezzanine, a beautiful, ornate balcony overlooking the State Court ballroom. A large parking area to give guests easy access to the grounds

The most iconic views of the Buffalo History Museum

Our 2 gorgeous large outdoor terraces are included in your event rental. Ideal for outdoor ceremonies and outdoor receptions. Tent rentals are separate for covered receptions. The Portico is fit with an upper and lower level, with the upper level being covered. After your outdoor ceremony, head up the marble steps for and outdoor cocktail hour to wow your guests.
