She makes the planning process seamless (even while planning from out of state!) with detailed outlines and proposals and total willingness to answer any and all questions. Her guidance and input was so helpful, and her patience and professionalism was so appreciated. She has decades of experience and has wonderful recommendations and puts together the most beautiful arrangements. We actually found La Bella Rose by driving past the Spring House one day when they were setting up for a wedding and asking who did the flower arrangements because they were that stunning. “We were going to go with an off island photographer when we came across Eli and their work. Their knowledge of the island, how the wind blows differently on different sides of our venue, how the light hits perfectly on this side of the venue and we can still get an ocean view — that they care about the power lines and know how to avoid cars in the back of ceremony images. The list just went on and on and on. Working with Eli was like working with a walking encyclopedia of Block Island. And when you're getting married on the island, it's such an asset. Eli helped walk us through other on island vendors, best spots for our engagement sessions, different hotels that might suite certain guests better than others, an amazing casual rehearsal dinner/welcome party idea that was flawless, and I just couldn't be happier. When we got the images though, I didn't know what to say. Eli had captured so much of our story, we felt the same jitters getting ready to walk down the aisle looking through images of moments we didn't. get to experience on our wedding day (we were a little busy, getting married, and you just can't witness everything). Eli was so great with our friends and family, able to choral a few of my drunk groomsmen, while simultaneously making my antsy family members just super at ease and happy. I couldn't be happier in working with Eli and can't wait to see them in future years when we visit.”

“The Spring House was an absolutely spectacular location for our wedding. We were married on the back lawn since it was high season, and then moved to the patio for our reception. Both have unobstructed views of the ocean. Once the ceremony was over, servers were at the ready with our speciality drinks. The cocktail hour food was incredible. Highly recommend the raw bar option, the oysters are shucked to order. Seated dinner was even better. Our guests cannot stop raving about the wedding and the food especially. Tanya, who is the coordinator, is a total gem. She was so patient, answering every single question. I hired a day of coordinator, but Tanya took care of every detail. She was so kind and pivoted easily to accommodate me when I realized that some of our more difficult guests didn't make the correct menu choices. We have been coming to Block Island for many years and we knew we wanted to be married there. The Spring House made everything truly special. Our wedding was perfection. Multiple guests have called to tell us that they felt that it was one of the best weddings they had been to.”

During the reception, we gave him a playlist, and he struck the perfect balance between sticking to our choices and reading the crowd to keep everyone dancing. One highlight was when Joey G handed the microphone to people in the crowd, turning our reception into an impromptu karaoke party. It was a blast! He was not only fun and engaging but also very attentive to our needs. He asked how to pronounce each name correctly for the toasts, ensuring everything went smoothly. We requested that he not take song requests, and he respected our wishes completely. The sound quality was stellar, and his equipment setup was flawless. Joey G understood our need for clean music as we had many families with young children attending, yet he still kept the atmosphere lively and fun. The dance floor was packed with all 150 guests! Joey G was also a great help with announcements, coordinating toasts, and working with friends and family to announce the newlyweds and photo groups. We explained to her that our wedding would consist of a very short ceremony and a dinner. The rest of the night would be some games and hanging out, but no dancing. Our original vision was to have her photograph the ceremony, group shots, and the dinner and skip couple portraits. After consulting with her, she recommended skipping the dinner photos (nobody looks good while eating) and photographing the ceremony, group shots, and, since our package left us with a remaining hour, plan for couple portraits before our ceremony. It was great advice and we're happy to have the couple portraits! On the day of she was very approachable and made us feel comfortable during our private session. She was clear when directing and arranging folks for the group photos. All of the pictures turned out great! I would definitely recommend Liza for any wedding or special occasion!”

On the wedding day, they came early to the hotel to set up with a manicurist, massage table, aromatherapy, and more. The dads, groomsmen, and groom all received manicures, massages, haircuts, and straight razor shaves. Doorbell Barbers even helped them all make sure they looked their best once they were dressed - truly a full service experience! Not to mention the bourbon and cigars. It was really great for the men to have some pampering and styling while the women were getting their hair and makeup done. Made the day so much more unique, special, and fun!"”

Communication is a 10/10, responds almost immediately and is such a nice person. She created a folder solely for our session, and used the inspo pics to pose us and really get the essence of our vibe. Super cool person to work with. Very friendly, and very professional. As for the turn around time, we received a few of our save the date pictures the day after!! Super fast compared to other photographers. Also included some drone pictures, which were some of the best shots. I definitely recommend to anyone. If I wasn’t having a destination wedding, Tati would be my photographer.
