University Place Hotel and Conference Center has event facilities for groups as small as 5 and as large as 280. Our 8,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space includes 10 meeting rooms and a recently renovated 3,792-square-foot ballroom. Many of our event spaces feature large windows and wonderful views, a plus for any event.

City Bridge & Tunnel is a hip industrial Cocktail bar serving craft cocktails and tasty small plates in a spacious downtown location. CB&T achieves four critical criteria for an ideal wedding after-party: 1)Nearby. Located downtown at SW 12th and Morrison St. mere blocks from the hotels your guests are staying at or the location of the reception. 2)Open late, later than the hotel bar or the hotel lobby/hallway guests tend to gather in after the reception. We’ll be able to accommodate guests until 2:30AM. 3)Unassuming. Guests who have been in heels, dresses, ties, and make-up to look perfect all day want to let their hair down. City Bridge & Tunnel has no dress code, no line to get in, and no Instagram competition. We’re a clean industrial bar with a fun crew and plenty of space for wedding guests to dance, let down their hair, and be as loud as they want. 4)Fun. We offer a complimentary bottle of champagne to the bride and groom and we will provide a live DJ until 1AM.

The Sanctuary Hall is a stunning, historical landmark in the heart of Portland's Arts District. Step back into time as you bask in the warm glow of 30' hand-made Povey Brothers stained glass installations and run your fingertips along the hand-carved 130 year old Douglas-Fir pews. The Hall's rounded and layered design allows for every wedding to feel like an intimate affair, be it seven people or 700. Beneath the Sanctuary Hall are many more multi-use rooms, including a banquet hall, commercial kitchen, chapel library, multiple dressing rooms. The venue is equipped with modern sound, lighting, and video capturing and streaming equipment. We have a fully functional pipe organ, one of the largest in Oregon, and a 7' Steinway Grand piano at your disposal. As an all-inclusive venue, we include staffing, setup, use of rentals (tables, chairs, linens, etc), clean-up, and an event specialist team to assist you with every package!

Built in 1925 and renovated in 2018 The Melody Event Center offers five distinct event spaces, accommodating up to 1,000 guests and offers flexible floor plans for every occasion. The elegant Melody Ballroom is nearly 6,000 square feet, welcoming up to 400 seated guest or up to 800 standing. The Melody Ballroom stands as our crown jewel with 30 foot high ceiling trimmed in gold, crystal chandeliers and a beautiful hardwood floor. We offer four additional spaces; The Morrison, Hawthorne, Portlandia and Broadway perfect for smaller events and meetings. Each room features this historic buildings original large scale windows displaying beautiful natural light. Opal 28 is an intimate space, an extension of your living room with a vintage & elegant ambiance. The 2,600 square foot space includes two great rooms, a built-in bar, private outdoor patio and bridal suite accommodations above the venue. The building was originally built in 1908 is conveniently located in inner NE Portland.
