From the start Sarah took time to get to know us as a couple, to ensure our wedding day reflected who we are. Sarah was always 10 steps ahead, thinking about every little detail of our special day. Her organization was extremely impressive to see first hand. Even the vendors we spoke with face-to-face raved about her organization, professionalism, and how easy it is to work with her. I think it speaks volumes that everyone she interacts with (clients and vendors alike) love to work with her. She is outstanding at balancing all the moving parts of a wedding with ease, and always made sure we felt comfortable with every step of the process. Sarah always took the time to help us finetune even the smallest of details, making sure the day would include everything we wanted. So many of our friends have said the wedding process was one of the most stressful times in their lives, but we did not have that experience at all and this is hugely attributed to Sarah and her team. The experience was enjoyable and exciting, and we never once found ourselves overwhelmed. We would have never been able to make it to our wedding day while still having fun, if we didn’t have Sarah leading our team. On the day of our wedding, Sarah and her team were OUTSTANDING! Working with other wedding vendors and signing contracts can be filled with new language, but Robin was very knowledgeable and took the time to help us understand the things we didn’t understand throughout the process. She also gave great tips on what to ask for or look for when choosing vendors and making decisions about minor details and how our day would flow. When it came to the wedding day Robin and her team executed things flawlessly! If something did go wrong we would have never known because they always had everything under control. We don't have much to say except that Kat and her team were absolute rockstars in helping us prep for and manage our big day! Super communicative throughout the entire process, and they helped us stay on track as we approached the wedding weekend. Kat did a phenomenal job of helping guide us through the details of the schedule and the wedding with compassion and patience. One thing we also really appreciated was how they managed the timeline day of, and kept us apprised of key events as they were coming up (cake cutting, how much time left for dancing, and so on). Lissa and her team was absolutely wonderful from the initial contact up to the end of our wedding day! No matter what kind of wedding you're having, she will make you and your partner feel like you have all of her attention as the most important couple. Throughout the whole process, she was so professional and supportive, even with not as traditional ideas. She had such a quick response time, usually within a day, or a couple hours, and sometimes even sooner! Her attention to detail in making my timeline was also amazing and I felt that we were able to have the whole day planned to the dot before the big day. On the wedding day, she made sure everything ran so smoothly and we were not stressed out at all! We had some small hiccups with the layouts that our venue had set up, but a quick word from Lissa had them fixing the issue. She's the perfect amount of assertiveness, professionalism, and friendliness with everyone, including the guests. The largest thing that stood out to us was how much all of our other vendors loved Lissa and working with her, and we could see it throughout the day. Our venue had restrictions such as a short setup window, but Lissa communicated with them and navigated the situation very well to make everything go smoothly. Even though we had a venue management person for the day of, it was nothing compared to working with someone that truly focuses on you and your needs. Megan was a perfect wedding coordinator. We originally hired her as a day of planner but had a few hiccups in our planning and brought her on as a full service wedding planner. We had a fairly stressful venue situation that forced us to switch almost all of our vendors about 3 months before our wedding day. She was up for the challenge and basically planned our entire wedding in about a week. She not only leveraged existing relationships to get us strong deals with reputable vendors, but she also found us new vendors she had never worked with and negotiated on our behalf for our perfect wedding. Megan was our calm in the whirlwind that was our wedding day. She was level headed when we forgot our guest book and through every other little thing that was even slightly off on the wedding day. The hectic journey of our wedding went off without a hitch and we both had the best day of our lives. Honestly, I don't think our wedding would have happened without Megan and we cannot recommend her highly enough to make your wedding more than a tid bit better.

We hired Meghan Farrar as our day of coordinator for our April wedding at Rust Manor and would highly recommend couples hire her. From the very start, Meghan made us feel like we were her only clients. Her attention to detail was impeccable, and her organization skills were truly next level. Meghan was an organized, kind, reassuring voice for us while planning the wedding. She was also the only coordinator to let us know Virginia’s residency requirement regarding officiants. Meghan was super familiar with Rust Manor. In the countdown to our wedding, Meghan checked in to make sure things were going well, answer any questions we have, and organize us for the walkthrough. Though we hired Meghan primarily for the day of our wedding, she was available to us throughout the planning process. In the month run up to our wedding, Meghan greatly assisted us in organizing the little details of the day and coordinating with our vendors, many of whom had worked previously with her and were excited to work with her again. Prior to our wedding, Meghan coordinated with our various POCs for vendors and the venue, making sure they knew who to reach out to on the day of our wedding and the timing of the day. Additionally, Meghan helped us through some last minute changes due to unexpected events. She was incredibly accommodating and reassuring. On the day of our wedding, Meghan was everything we needed her to be and more. She managed to keep us on schedule, comfortable, and immensely helped our stress. I cannot say enough incredible things about Erin. Above and beyond does not begin to cover it! Look no further for any of your wedding planning needs. We hired Erin for our month of coordinator almost 2 years in advance. From the beginning, she was very responsive, informative, kind, and helpful. I am pretty organized, and she consistently thought of questions I didn't! I was very impressed with her demeanor with myself and the rest of our vendors. Our venue required a pre-approved coordinator, and Erin took the steps to contact them to make sure she would work out, and we are so glad she did! She did everything she said she would and then some. Penderview Events truly went above and beyond to make our day PERFECT. As a DIY and meticulous bride, we knew Anna was the one we would entrust with our vision the moment we had our phone consultation; she was so incredibly sweet and enthusiastic about our big day, and I immediately felt a sense of ease that she will be able to handle all the shenanigans and i can pass her the torch with ease. Although she was hired for "day of", she assisted us in any way possible months leading to and made sure we were on top of all the important tasks leading up to the day of (i.e. vendors contact info, finalizing timeline for the morning/day of, etc.). My big day unfortunately started off disastrous (I became car sick), so I was unable to give guidance with the decor during set up. But since one of the tasks Anna asked me weeks prior was for a list with all the decor and how/where I wanted them placed, Penderview legit made my vision come true!!!!!!!! Penderview was so attentive, that they were even able to place some items which I gave no instructions for (i.e. last minute decided that we wanted wedding party to sit during the ceremony, so I made name placement cards for the reserved chairs, and without mentioning it, they were placed on the chairs in processional order). Penderview was able to execute every event and details on the timeline FLAWLESSLY, and I was able to enjoy the event with ease knowing that everything was in such capable hands. We felt and saw how invested Penderview was throughout the day in making it perfect for us, especially the attention to details and handling all the logistics smoothly behind-the-scenes. I also really appreciated Anna’s assertiveness when hiccups would arise (ie, making sure guests wouldnt be walking in while were ready down the aisle/stay out of view, wedding party prioritized drinking and forgot to come back for portraits; flower girls kept running infront of camera during portraits, and so many other headaches i did not want to deal with, etc.) Not only was Anna able to accomplish and execute my vision beyond expectations, but she was also my emotional support and my right-hand lady, making sure I was always hydrated. Anna’s empathetic and kind demeanor made her feel more like a close friend than just a ‘day of coordinator’. Hiring Penderview was the best investment we made. Thank you so much for making our day magical and we will forever be grateful to Penderview!!!

Kolena & her team at Blue Sapphire Events are STELLAR. My husband and I have hectic jobs and I am an evening student which meant we needed all the help we could get to plan our wedding! In stepped Kolena, who helped us design, plan, and execute the most perfect day. We wanted to put up a sailcloth tent and hold our entire event outside at a family member's home. That involved bringing in EVERYTHING - the tents, the tables & chairs, the bars, the plates & glassware, the restroom trailers! and so much more. Kolena managed everything for us - from vendor sourcing to rental coordination to the burdensome permitting process for the tent. She was onsite for every site visit, the tent/rental setup, the rehearsal, and the day itself. From the very beginning, Kolena was capable, calm, and so thoughtful. We were married in May but I don't like pinks & pastels (your traditional spring wedding palettes). Without missing a beat, Kolena designed a gorgeous, lush green & white palette with black accents. She listens and really understands her clients -- it felt so US. Because our event was at a private property, we couldn't accommodate parking for our guests. I was particularly worried about ensuring the shuttles were reliable & ready for our guests. Kolena handled the entire process - from sourcing different quotes through the contract process and on the day-of to make sure everything went smoothly. On the day of our wedding, Kolena seamlessly helmed a vendor team of close to 25 people. She brilliantly suggested we put ponchos on guest chairs, in case it started to rain during our ceremony (it did) and transitioned our cocktail hour from outdoors to under the reception tent at lightning speed. As you can see, I have endless good things to say about Kolena & her team at Blue Sapphire Events. She works harder than almost anyone I've met, she's creative, she truly cares about every one of her clients, and I'm so, so grateful that she lent us her talents to make our wedding day perfect!

She got back to me on every email in a timely manner with all the answers I needed. I didn't realize at the time but strong communication was probably the MOST important aspect that made working with vendors 1000x better, and Diane excelled at it. Additionally, in the lead up to my wedding day and on the day itself, Diane was on top of EVERY detail. She went above and beyond to make sure that everything was PERFECT - just as I always dreamed it would be. From helping me iron my wedding dress while my bridesmaids and I were getting our makeup done to overseeing every vendor arrival and setup to making sure transitions from each part of the day were smooth - she did it all. No detail was too small for her, and because she's a total professional, she thought of everything!
