About this venue

Centrally located on Manhattan’s Bowery, The Wren is a convenient and intimate location for small weddings, bridal showers, engagement celebrations, welcome cocktails, and other private events of up to 50 people. Our private event planner works with each guest from planning through execution to creating custom menus, bar packages, and atmosphere.

September-January

We host events for a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 5 hours. The minimum price is dependent on the number of hours, time of day, and the day of the week.

We can accommodate reception style events up to 55 people.

We do offer buyouts on Mondays and Tuesdays. The minimum spend for a buyout starts at $15,000.

Minors can attend with written approval from the Events Manager.

Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule your event we can move the deposit to the new date of the event as long as it is hosted within 365 days of the initial event.

Insurance is not required but highly recommended.

All food does need to be ordered through us. You can bring in an outside dessert, such as a cake, but additional fees may be applied if you require the staff to cut and serve.

No, outside alcohol is prohibited.

Unfortunately our space is not wheelchair accessible. The only access is via stairs.

No, we do not have onsite parking. There are several parking garages/lots nearby.

Dedicated bartender and event manager, all food and drinks (depending on the packages selected), glassware, flatware, silverware, and votive candles.

Decorations can be brought in but need to be discussed with the events manager in advance as there are limitations.
