About this venue

Located in the heart of downtown’s Theatre District, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts features a full-service rental venue that hosts some of the city’s most spectacular events. As part of the region’s leading theatre organization, the Seawell Ballroom has been setting the stage for inspired events since 1998. The Seawell Ballroom is a 10,000-square-foot venue complete with HD broadcast capabilities, LED crystal ceiling lighting, and a full team to manage each event. No vision is too extravagant. As a turn-key venue, the DCPA’s Event Services team helps with every step of the planning process, from theatrically inspired design to Broadway-caliber lighting and concert-quality sound. And our eight catering partners provide food and beverage options sure to “wow” a crowd. Wedding rental starts at $25,000.

The Directors Room is the newest event space and boasts 2,800 square feet of indoor and outdoor space. The design is classic with a hint of modern - with warm and inviting finishes. Natural light flows in from the veranda offering a view of the Rocky Mountains, universities and more. Groups of 10 to 200.

    The Seawell Ballroom is in the heart of downtown, and the massive windows show some spectacular views of the mountains and the city. Not like other ballrooms in the basements of hotels. The team is incredibly professional and do everything they can to make your dream come true.
