Located in the heart of Downtown Denver, we are an award-winning venue nestled within a historic building, featuring a European-style courtyard which blossoms into a secret garden in the city. Original exposed brick walls, grand staircase, stained glass ceiling and local artwork create a comfortable atmosphere that is both casual and elegant. With four versatile spaces, including the cozy Colorado Room & serene Courtyard Patio, we can accommodate events up to 250 guests. With the additional rental of the Greater Courtyard, events can grow to almost 400. The indoor & outdoor capabilities offer unique spaces that combine to create the perfect setting for your ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner and more! A warm, intimate space to entertain your closest family and friends.

As you descend the grand staircase and enter the Colorado Room you’ll enjoy local artwork highlighting some of Denver and Colorado’s most beautiful scenes. With seating for up to 80 guests, or space for about 100 in a cocktail style reception, this space is perfect for a small to medium celebrations of all kinds. Celebrate with a private bar, private restrooms, a stage for your DJ or band and the perfect dance floor, along with two large flat screen TV’s with cable, audio & HDMI connections.

Tanner and I can’t express how happy, satisfied, and grateful we are with our experience at The Lobby! We recently held our wedding ceremony and reception in their Courtyard and restaurant. From the initial booking to the day of and clean up, the staff at the Lobby were fantastic. Specifically, the GM Christian worked with us extensively to make sure every detail was discussed, fleshed out and then specified to exactly as we had envisioned. His incredibly fast response time to questions asked by not only us but our vendors kept everyone in the loop and their flexibility with small changes as the date approached made the entire process feel easy. Planning a wedding, mostly on your own, can be a mountain to climb but we were always put at ease by Christian and his team. The day of had no issues ( that we knew of :-) )and I don’t think we could have asked for anything more. Our guests and family are still reaching out to say how awesome and delicious the prepared food was, attentive the staff and bartenders were and how great a time they had. We 100% recommend The Lobby for your special day or any event for that matter. For reference, we hosted a 160 person wedding, with DJ, and ceremony in the court yard.

The Lobby Venue was a fantastic choice for our urban wedding. Christian the owner, communicated with us in a quick, direct, and pleasant manner throughout the planning process, providing helpful information that guided us to a wonderful event. The venue itself has a hip, cozy vibe while still being budget-friendly with a feeling of class. They were accommodating of our guests' dietary needs and had great suggestions that contributed to an amazing experience overall. The courtyard offered an amazing spot for our ceremony and some beautiful photos. From start to finish, The Lobby Venue's knowledgeable team ensured our special day went smoothly. We would highly recommend them to any couple looking for an intimate, laidback venue with character. It was truly a blessing to find a venue that was so great about being LGBTQ friendly! We recently hosted my son and new daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner and post-wedding brunch at The Lobby. The food was amazing at both events; it was just their standard brunch on Sunday, but everything on the menu is awesome! For the rehearsal, our servers were Branwyn, Kailey, and Candice and then we had Branwyn again on Sunday as our waitress. During both events they were perfect and so attentive. They were an absolute pleasure to interact with. The staff organizing and cooking were also fabulous, my son has a deadly fish (with fins) and tree nut allergy and during the rehearsal, they made sure that the kitchen was clear of hazards including replacing their standard Worcestershire sauce with a vegan (fish-free) version for the appetizers at the rehearsal. The attention to detail was truly awesome. I highly recommend The Lobby for both brunch and for wedding/special events; they are so responsive and attentive to detail.

Our peak season (aka increased food and beverage minimums) is during the month of December.

Our "off-peak" season minimums run from January - November.

Unfortunately no. Since we are also a full service restaurant, we are licensed to handle all of our own catering and alcohol service on site!

While we do not have our own dedicated parking, there are several privately owned parking lots very near by. The closest lot is across the street from us, and ranges from $4-$7. The lot is also rentable from the private management company and rates vary depending on the time of day, and specific date.

Yes, our Main Level is completely ADA compliant and accessible. However, since we are a historic building, the Colorado Room is not accessible by ADA standards.

Trick question - we don't have any rental fees!

Our standard rental includes 4 hours of event time, plus an hour for setup and an hour for break down. You can add additional hours of event time for a small fee, with a maximum of 6 hours of event time allowed.
