The Double Knot
It’s true that twins seem to have a strange connection with each other. Leah and Linsey are both perfectionists on their own but when you put the two of them together, it is like magic happens! They make a great team and have worked together on events and projects for their entire lives. Today, The Double Knot has grown into a team of four to help accommodate more parties and larger events. Each team member has been trained directly by Linsey and Leah to provide only the best in customer service. We offer free consultations so be sure to let us know what event you are planning.
Linsey and Leah are twins who were born for party planning! They began their education with a Wedding Specialist Certification in the summer of 2006, then Leah graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Human Resource Management in 2007, and Linsey graduated from California State University, Fullerton with her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship in 2008. Since then, the twins have planned weddings, retirement parties, birthdays, anniversaries, conferences, reunions, and more!

Double Perfection!
Linsey and Leah are definitely an amazing dynamic duo. I am in the wedding industry and have had the privilege of working with these two as a photographer while they have been the planners. It has always been amazing working with them so when looking for a coordination team for my wedding, I knew I wanted to reach out to them. They were so helpful for my husband and I, guiding us on the planning and all of the last min details we needed! I was stressed leading into the wedding, but once the rehearsal hit and the two of them went to work, I was immediately at ease and able to just enjoy and be present. They handled everything from setup to cleanup and all the events in between, even making sure to have us hit the photo list I made and get into the photo booth before it closed. They are an amazing team and working with them as a bride and not just a photographer gave me even more appreciation for them!! I already recommended them highly to my brides, and now I will even more as someone who experienced their amazing work from the bride's side! Can’t say enough good things about them and our guests loved them too and commented on how great and sweet they were and how quickly they took care of things and how hard they worked! The Double Knot is an amazing team and you won't regret hiring them!

The Double Knot was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. They were so easy to communicate with and always replied to us very quickly, which was a huge help during the busy planning process. Throughout our time working together, they were always open to listening to our ideas and advocating for us to make our vision a reality. On the day of the wedding, they took great care of us and our guests, and the entire event went by so smoothly thanks to their hard work. We felt so special and cared for, and the day was absolutely perfect - nothing went wrong, all thanks to the amazing team at The Double Knot. I would highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding!
Planned the day then saved the day!
We chose to hire Linsey and Leah as full wedding planners, and they did an amazing job. There are so reasons they were lovely and you should go with them. We got married in LA and they were so reasonably priced compared to what my other friends have paid, and the work they do is top notch and pays for itself in terms of reduced stress but I'll try to list out the top things that they had a huge impact on. 1. VENUE HUNTING - My husband and I hired The Double Knot before we even picked a venue, which I would highly recommend! It was so nice because they were able to give really solid recommendations for venues that fit what we were looking for both in terms of aesthetic and budget, would come look at the venues with us and ask questions regarding logistics. They saved us so much time because they would get the quotes from the venues, figure out what was and wasn't included and then let us know approximately how much a wedding would cost for our guest count. It really helped in immediately eliminating venues that weren't going to work. Don't suffer the heartbreak of a venue you fall in love with but later find out can't afford, or the sticker shock of how much the wedding will actually cost once you've signed the venue. That right there probably saved us the cost of hiring them two or three times over. 2. VENDOR VETTING AND RECOMMENDATIONS - The Double Knot had so many wonderful vendors that they recommended and they were all so reasonably priced. Our DJ was awesome, our wedding photographer was 1/5 of the price of other photographers I messaged and because they worked with them all before, they could vouch for their work ethic and quality of work. They were definitely open to working with whoever we wanted to work with and did an excellent job vetting them (I certainly had no idea the right questions to ask), but we felt that if Linsey recommended them, it saved us the hassle of shopping around and everyone did a wonderful job. Our friends said our DJ was the best wedding DJ they'd had. 3. WHEN THE UNEXPECTED HAPPENS - Then after all that work for months planning our wedding, Linsey and the Double Knot team had to turn around and completely re-plan our wedding the week of because a freak storm came in and rained only on our wedding day. So our outdoor photos, wedding ceremony and cocktail hour had to be completely refitted to be inside where our reception was going to be, and Linsey found a lovely private cocktail bar for us to take our photos at before the wedding. I mean, just having to coordinate all of that the week of the wedding would have made me lose my hair, but I never had to hear a word about it they just took care of it. You should 100% hire The Double Knot. They are a pleasure to work with, pay for themselves immediately and really listen to you to help make your dreams come true. Save yourself time, money and tears and hire them for your wedding or event!

The Double Knot twins are my heroes!!! I cannot say enough incredible things about Linsey and Leah's attitude, energy, professionalism, organization skills, communication, oh the list goes on and on! Honestly, I was so sad the wedding day ended because it meant that working with them was over! I loved watching them brainstorm, problem solve, plan minute by minute, add creative suggestions, encourage my ideas, and more. I highly recommend hiring Linsey and Leah. My husband and I hired them to take over two months before the wedding and we are so glad we did. They helped with more than we imagined and reduced our stress levels immensely. We are forever grateful for the amazing Double Knot team.
