I studied to become a wedding planner, and helped plan lots of weddings for family and friends, but thought I couldn't be one full time because I didn't fit the picture of what I thought a wedding planner would be. I'm not quiet, I wear sneakers (Jordan retro 1s are my fav), I laugh at my own puns (eg. Best Mate/Bridesmaid) , I don't care about what 'most people' do in their weddings and I firmly believe that traditions only matter if you want them to! I aim to come alongside couples and make the planning process fun and NOT intimidating at all.

I don't know what makes me different, I try to focus on just being me! The team here at A Bride’s Best Mate care most about getting you the day you want, in the budget you can handle! We try to make sure we don't use 'industry speak' when we talk to you and really break it all down and just be like your new best friends helping you plan your ideal day! For 2024, we are only accepting a limited number of Day Of Coordination and Remote Guided Planning Packages. For 2025, we are only accepting bookings for destination weddings.

I reached out to Alison with a VERY last minute request to help us finalize wedding plans, AND show up day-of to coordinate all of our vendors and such at the venue. Not only did she show up HARD for us, she was highly communicative without being demanding. She thought of everything, was highly detail-oriented, and has excellent connections in the community that allowed us to pull off some last minute planning without fully panicking. Her energy is kind, fun, and totally contagious. She exceeded all of our expectations and truly made the day for us. We absolutely would have been lost without her. She’s simply the best!

Alison was hands down the best vendor we had for our wedding. We cannot rave about her enough. We picked her medium package allowing us to work with her throughout the entire planning process. She was fantastic at recommending vendors (ultimately saving us a ton of money), helped us navigate contracts, vendor communication, guided us to stay on budget, and created an incredible experience. Her stylist eye was essential when deciding on florals, colors, and table design. I wish we were getting married again just so we could keep working with her. We had friends and family after the wedding comment to us about how organized and smooth the wedding felt and much of it was due to Alison and her team. If you're looking for a wedding planner around Colorado look no further!

Alison and Tori from A Bride's Best Mate were the best part of my wedding planning and wedding day! I wanted to create a day that felt like me and my husband, and they helped us do just that. Everything was so relaxed and any issue was taken care of without use ever knowing! They're suggestions throughout the wedding planning process were fantastic and every vendor they suggested was top-notch. My wedding would not have been the same without Alison and Tori and I cannot thank them enough for making our wedding day absolutely perfect!
