Hi! I'm Heather, the photographer behind Heather Lee Photographs. I've always had a passion for the art of photography… learning, appreciating, and shooting all that I can. I enjoy capturing the special moments in life, helping people remember the past, and allowing them to keep those memories alive.

I love clean, creative, interesting, yet authentic, beautiful photographs. I prefer location shoots where I can use natural lighting to best capture the mood and feel in the photo. In the post, I try not to over-edit, but rather to produce the best image possible. I am a bit of a perfectionist and tend to obsess a little, but that’s all good for the client. I am available to shoot family portraits, newborns, maternity, engagement, weddings, and other special events. Thank you for taking the time to explore my website. Heather photographed our wedding including first look, ceremony, dinner, and dance. Heather communicated wonderfully and asked us great questions in preparation for our big day. Heather arrived promptly and literally jumped right in by taking photos in the first minute of walking through the door. Parts of our wedding were a bit spontaneous, and Heather rolled with it without missing a beat. Heather showed professionalism and experience as she guided us with varied poses and backdrops for our photos. Beyond her photographic talent, Heather was a lovely addition to our day. Several guests commented (unprompted to do so) on how she seemed to be everywhere, catching priceless moments. Heather was efficient in organizing our group photos and demonstrated both patience and assertiveness as we had many children attending. I felt very trusting of Heather in the ways she directed us for shots and would subtly request us for photos as the sky changed. It was evident she was focused, invested, and committed to creating amazing photos for our day in a way that felt seamless. We cannot wait to see our pics and have confidence we will be blown away. We are deeply grateful.
