Q: What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

In my 4 years of experience as a photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues. I am SUPER SUPER picky about who I work with because I want your photos to be super amazing. I would also personally edit them, even if a worse-case scenario happened and I couldn't physically be present on the day of. This ensures that the quality of YOUR photos is my very best work, all of the time.

Q: How long will it take to see our pictures?

Digital images: I am very diligent about returning your full and completed gallery within 8 weeks. However... I know that can feel like FOREVER. Especially if you are eager to post about it on your socials. Heck. Iii am eager to to post about your day on my own socials! So, I also ensure that you get some sneak peeks within 2 days. Just to hold you over. ;) Film Photos: In addition... if you also choose to include film photos, those will usually be delivered within 7 days - I upload them as soon as they are developed!

For the romantic explorers who are planning their intimate wedding in California, I am a California-raised, golden-coast obsessed, documentary-style wedding photographer who can’t get enough of the beautiful outdoor venues this state has to offer. From ocean low to mountain high, my bags are packed and I’m on my way to capture your love story in the most beautiful place in the world.

The only wedding day experience that truly matters is the one experienced by the couple that is actually getting married (that’s you)!! This is YOUR origin story. Wedding photos should never take priority over relationships and special moments-which is why I have fallen in love with the behind-the-scenes approach that can only truly happen with artful story-telling aka documentary-style photography. I capture love stories through documentary-style photography so that every couple can look back and remember what their wedding day felt like. Remembering the beginning helps strengthen the middle and fully appreciate the end.

Planning your wedding? You need Kait! Her work is beautiful and you can definitely check out her instagram to see for yourself. But here are the things social media does not capture: She is professional and the sweetest photographer ever! For my wedding day, she helped me stay calm and collected, she was my friend in those private moments of the day, and she checked in on how my husband and I were feeling during our couple shoot. She’s so flexible, as one should be, because sometimes… things do not go as planned! We had one initial meeting before we signed a contract, and then another meeting a few weeks before the big day where I was a total spaz because of a personal matter but she gave me a lot. She’s definitely worth it and I only hope I can somehow work with her again someday.

No. I am purely a still-photo artist who focuses on photography, both digitally and through film. (I love the old school stuff!). I do have videographers that I adore and would recommend working with to help you with your search if you book me!

Short answer? YES. I LOVE working with a second photographer to create beautiful images of your day. Long answer? It depends on which package you choose. I offer both wedding packages with and without a second shooter so that I can make myself more budget friendly as needed. <3
