A bit about me: My name is Zuleika, I am a native New Yorker, cat mom, and lover of all things *magic*. In my experience of doing hair and makeup for over 15 years, I pride myself in my work and love connecting with new people. I work with all hair textures, lengths, and densities. I especially love styling curly hair and creating beautiful hair pieces with flowers & accessories. I work out of my studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and am available for destination weddings!

What sets me apart? I know weddings can be stressful, and the last thing you want to stress about is what you look like. I always make sure that my brides not only look their best, but feel their best. Whether we need to do some breath work, burn palo santo, or have a shot of tequila. I got you. <3

    Zuleika is INCREDIBLY talented. I consider myself fairly knowledgeable about hair/makeup, so I had a very clear vision and my standards were high. She listened carefully to what I wanted and executed flawlessly. I feel so fortunate to have found her for my wedding day - cannot recommend enough!

    Zuleika was an absolute DREAM to work with. She did hair and makeup for me and my 2 bridesmaids (each with completely different hair and complexions than myself) and we all looked like the best versions of ourselves. That was VERY important to me - I only wear mascara so the idea of a full face of makeup was not appealing to me. During our trial, Zuleika redid my face 3 times until it had the exact look I wanted - which was incredibly natural. She was so easy to work with and didn’t mind at all that I was so particular. Hair was also gorgeous! I had wanted to do soft waves with a hair piece holding back half of my hair. Well, 90% humidity changed that plan at the last minute! The morning of my wedding I went onto Pinterest to get a few updo looks. I showed them to Zuleika, explained the tweaks I wanted, and she nailed the look I was going for on the first try. I usually hate updos and was sad that I wasn’t going to be able to wear my hair down, but in the end, it was for the best! My hair and makeup stayed in tact all night. One of my bridesmaids didn’t personally love her hairstyle (even though I thought it looked great), so Zuleika was able to completely re-work it in 5 minutes. She’s flexible, fun and oh so talented. Highly recommend!!!
