In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

Big Rock Creek in Saint Croix Falls, WI, is a stunning estate and wedding venue originally established in the late 1800s as a Trout Hatchery. The old barn, standing since 1915, has been elegantly renovated into an 11,000-square-foot event space! This is the place to host your wedding if you want a spot the entire family will enjoy! At our farmhouse-inspired barn venue located in Hilbert, WI, we strive to be the perfect blend of rustic and modern. From the first moment we saw the property, we were ready to call it home. Now, we couldn't be more excited to call it Brindlewood Barn. Our four and a quarter acre property is newly renovated to accommodate stunning barn weddings and events. Featuring a beautiful grass space for outdoor ceremonies, 4,000 sq. ft. barn space that seats up to 250 guests for a formal sit-down dinner along with 1,920 sq. ft. of additional indoor space for cocktail hour in our front building we call the machine shed, where our bar and restrooms are located. We also have a 600 sq. ft. bridal suite, grooms bar, and two decks attached to the barn for jaw-dropping sunset views and outdoor event space.
