A piece of history… The Cool Springs House has a long and colorful history. In 1830, James and Penelope Barfield Carothers built the original two log rooms of the Cool Springs House located at what is presently the intersection of Mallory Lane and Cool Springs Boulevard. Many years later, the house had major renovations done to it by adding the second story, the downstairs hall, and the front porch. Our 170-year-old barn is perfect for weddings, as well as country music videos, especially when the light comes streaming in just right. Our 6,000 square foot reception pavilion can be open-air or heated and cooled as needed for the comfort of your guests. All of ceremony and reception spots can be custom decorated to make your perfect backdrop to say "I Do!" Our property also feature a 1850s historic mansion and a rustic loft above our stone cottage for getting ready.
