About this venue
Located in the Nations Neighborhood of Nashville, we offer two venues in one space: Nicky's Coal Fired, which can host up to 150, and The Maxwell Room, which can host up to 90. When you host your event with us, pricing is all inclusive. That means every dollar spent will go towards your event- no booking fee, room charge, or empty expenses. Both of our spaces feature original hardwood floors, warehouse style windows, and exposed brick, creating a beautiful raw aesthetic.

Amazing Food and Beautiful Reception Option
I photographed a wedding at Nicky's Coal Fired The Maxwell Room for the first time this July. I have eaten at the restaurant before but all of my expectations were exceeded for how they were able to host & accommodate a wedding reception. The team was incredibly helpful, kind, and communicative with both myself and the other vendors. The venue has a unique and intimate feel that's a perfect option within the city of Nashville without your guest having to Uber/travel far from downtown. The food was the best wedding food I have ever had, and the bar options for guests were high-class, going well beyond the typical beer and wine offerings. I cannot wait to work at Nicky's again!
Next Level Nashville Nuptials
The Maxwell Room is a gem of a venue here in Nashville! We had the opportunity to coordinate our wedding with Caroline and Katie and it was such a great experience from start to finish. Katie was super helpful navigating our needs and very responsive to any questions that arose. They went above and beyond to provide ease on our wedding day. Everyone was super friendly and made the stress melt away. The space is absolutely stellar and the food was delicious. It was the perfect space for our special day!
Wonderful Wedding
Thank you for making our wedding so special! I worked closely with Caroline and she took all of my requests into consideration and created an incredible experience for us. I can’t thank you enough. All of our guests RAVED about the quality of the food and how delicious it was. Everything went smoothly and responded promptly with any questions or concerns. Very accommodating to our vegetarian guests. I also heard we had the best venue for our wedding and I couldn’t agree more!!! Plenty of space to dance the night away or mingle with our guests. It was perfect. It was so nice to sit back and relax on our big day, knowing Caroline, Tony, & their team had everything under control. What a talented and caring group of professionals.
Reception
From the moment we booked Nicky's Coal Fired The Maxwell Room for our wedding, the staff was excellent in their communication and always responsive to our questions and needs. The venue itself is beautiful, affordable, and brand new, providing the perfect backdrop for our special day. Nicky's went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was perfect - we did not have to stress about anything, as the timing between cocktail hour and the reception was seamless, and our guests never had to wait for a cocktail or passed appetizer. The food was truly incredible, and it was extra special knowing we got engaged in Venice just like the cuisine. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening, and we're so grateful to Nicky's for making our wedding day so memorable.
