Our beautiful facility is located downtown in the old Coca-Cola bottling plant in Lubbock's historic Depot District. The space includes a lofty interior, tasting room, and outdoor patio, available to rent together or separately for a variety of events and soirées of all sorts! If you would like more information and to see our space, we welcome you to contact our Hospitality Director to schedule an appointment. To confirm a date for an event, a signed contract must be received along with payment of one-half of the total venue rental fee.

Sophia’s Place is a rustic wedding venue located in Lubbock, Texas. This historic warehouse is owned and operated by Amber Peters, who restored it through hard work and the help of her three daughters. Amber is a Lubbock native who is proud to have opened a venue where her neighbors and community members can host elegant celebrations. She named the event space after her youngest daughter, who is a reminder to her that God is generous at all times. Amber invites couples to wed in this magnificent hall, where they will be surrounded by historic charm and industrial-chic luxury.

With over 17,000 square feet of usable space, Madewell Estates offers a variety of spaces for your event. Whether you're wanting to host a small get together of 20, 100, or 500. A Grand Hall with a gorgeous backdrop of windows, cocktail lounge with access to an oversized patio, upstairs balconies with an patio overlooking the south side of the property and pond, a Bridal Suite or smaller event space with overlooking balcony deck of the front of the estate as well as a Grooms Suite for private gatherings.

Our wooden X-back chairs can be set up for an outside ceremony in three different ways: facing the bell tower, the cascading wall of ivy, or the waterfall. You can also dance the night away under the twinkling lights after saying “I do!” Up the stairs by the bell tower is a beautiful garden that you and your bridal party can use for photos throughout the day. This is also where our beautiful Bridal Suite is located. Our garden is also utilized for a one-hour cocktail/social hour between the ceremony and reception.
