“Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. You will not regret choosing him to DJ at your wedding, party, event. Whatever it is, Brian is a huge value add and a pleasure to work with.”

“Champagne Toast was one of the recommended vendors from our venue, The Barn at Wight Farm, and after having them as our DJ and Photobooth, we can see why! We couldn’t be happier with the services we received from Champagne Toast! Brian, our DJ, was absolutely phenomenal. From the start, we had access to an online music portal where we could create custom playlists and even upload songs from our Spotify library. The portal also had a detailed timeline of the day, including the names of everyone that he needed to announce during the reception and the list of songs to play for special moments. Brian seamlessly handled music for every part of our wedding from the ceremony, the cocktail hour, the entrances, dinner, and of course, the reception. Brian also helped us come up with some ideas to get a picture with every table during the Table Dash game and to help get everyone on the dance floor with the Longest Couple Dance. One thing that was especially important to my husband was playing music in English and Spanish. My husband is Puerto Rican, so we made sure to stress how important it was to blend the two cultures during the reception music, and Brian was happy to oblige! The dance floor was lively and packed the entire night, and he seamlessly mixed music in both languages; my husband was especially impressed that he even played some songs in Spanish that we hadn’t had on our Must Play list from the online portal. The dance floor was packed the entire reception and everyone had an absolute blast! During our last meeting with Brian, we talked about doing uplighting around the dance floor. These lights could be synced to the music so they would go along with the beat and amplify the party energy of the reception. Once we saw the lights we could not have been happier! They added a wonderful splash of color and kept the dance floor illuminated throughout the dancing. We also decided to have a photobooth from Champagne Toast at our wedding. We opted for the iPad photobooth option. We were able to select a backdrop ahead of time on their website, and they brought tons of fun props to choose from. Everyone had an amazing time taking photos throughout the evening! Numerous guests told us how much fun they had with the photobooth and how impressed they were with Eric, our photobooth attendant; he was courteous and professional and made sure everyone looked great in the photos! We loved that we got an online gallery where we could see all the photos and download them. One of our guests even loved it so much that they booked the same photobooth the next day! Champagne Toast played a huge role in making our wedding day unforgettable, and we can’t recommend them enough!”

“My daughter recently got married in Newport, Rhode Island, on September 14th, 2024. She choose to have her reception in a tent on the lawn of the Eisenhower House. The venue was stunning and the woman at EH recommended Clockwork as we were looking for a local band with horns to play at the reception. We were not able to hear them in person, but all the video's posted online more than helped our decision making process and we quickly booked the band 20 months in advance, It was our second decision in the wedding process after the venue -with many, many more to come, but without a doubt - IT WAS THE BEST DECISION!!!! Booking was easy - we sent a check to reserve the date. the catalog of music they are capable of playing is extensive. But we had a tremendous comfort level with Clockwork New England as the contract states YOU GET THE EXACT MUSICIANS you see on all the website videos. There are no switches, or long lists of band members they slot in on any given day. Everyone we saw and loved are the people that showed up for our event. From start to finish - the band rocked the night away - the dance floor was never empty. They sang the bride and grooms song 'You are the Best Thing" and it was spectacular. And every song after that just got us up off our feet. The horns added so much - we keep hearing from friends asking us who they were, because they LOVED the music. The interactions with the crowd also made the night so memorable - and some of the best videos of the night. The band worked well together - and we just cannot say enough about how much they added to the party. Patrick joined a zoom call we had w our planner a week or so earlier than the event - and went over every detail - completely putting our minds at ease. 5 stars are NOT ENOUGH!! They truly made our event the best it could have possibly been! I want to do it again!”

“I recently officiated a wedding that Scott dj'ed and handled the sound for, and I really wanted to send him a special thank you for being such a great professional and great human. I've officiated 6 weddings for friends but this was the first one post-Covid, and Scott's professionalism and flexibility really made a huge difference for me and the anxiety I was feeling after a long lay-off from this sort of thing... making me feel a lot more comfortable and able to relax and enjoy the event and do a really excellent job for the bride and groom. I am confident when it comes to finding the words and performing the ceremony, but worrying about the sound equipment and cues is a big source of stress for me. It's hard to be fully present as an officiant while trying to remember the cues and technical details other DJs kind of just dictated to me. Scott was the first wedding dj who, when I wanted to avoid dealing with a hand mic or that sort of thing, just had the attitude of "no problem, you worry about your job, and I'll make sure you sound great." Instead of "remember these technical details and cues or else the audio will be lousy". And on top of that he just has a really great, encouraging, positive attitude. It's obvious from a mile away he loves what he does, and that making wedding days special is a calling for him and not just a gig or job. His energy radiates into everyone around him. I've been in the military and private healthcare, and I'm just very cognizant of and appreciative of people who have a total mastery of what they do, and a great attitude that makes everyone around them more confident and makes the mission not just more successful but more enjoyable. This is the first time I've been so moved by a wedding vendor's performance and attitude that I tracked them down so I could thank them and write a review for them. “Joey G is like my cool uncle except he’s got sick DJ skills. He did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Not only was he professional and organized, but he also brought an incredible energy to our wedding. For the ceremony and cocktail hour, we provided him with a specific music selection, and even though we never rehearsed together, he nailed it perfectly. During the reception, we gave him a playlist, and he struck the perfect balance between sticking to our choices and reading the crowd to keep everyone dancing. One highlight was when Joey G handed the microphone to people in the crowd, turning our reception into an impromptu karaoke party. It was a blast! He was not only fun and engaging but also very attentive to our needs. He asked how to pronounce each name correctly for the toasts, ensuring everything went smoothly. We requested that he not take song requests, and he respected our wishes completely. The sound quality was stellar, and his equipment setup was flawless. Joey G understood our need for clean music as we had many families with young children attending, yet he still kept the atmosphere lively and fun. The dance floor was packed with all 150 guests! Joey G was also a great help with announcements, coordinating toasts, and working with friends and family to announce the newlyweds and photo groups. His flexibility and attention to detail were impressive. Overall, I highly recommend Joey G to any couple looking for an awesome wedding DJ. He provided a questionnaire that made the whole planning process so easy, and his execution was simply fantastic. Joey G truly made our wedding day unforgettable!”

“The Music Boutique was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, Scott was extremely helpful and responsive, and always providing us with great ideas, suggestions, and guidance to make our day special. We had a duo playing for our ceremony and during the cocktail hour and then we had a small 3 person band playing for our reception. And it was the perfect amount of people. We had spoken to some other bands and they all kept saying we need some big band for the reception, but since we were having less than 100 people at the wedding, we didn’t think it made sense to have like a 10 person band, it just seemed like it would overwhelm the whole wedding. And we knew we wanted a band component since my father plays guitar and I had a feeling would want to play a song at some point. Then we spoke with Scott, he seemed to understand our vision of having a small band. He loved the idea of my father playing a song, and made suggestions on when was the perfect time for him to play, and even laughed along with our idea of playing “September” by Earth, Wind, and Fire, over and over again, since we were getting married on “the 21st night of September” (we did not do this)! The day of the band was amazing! They even took the time to learn our first dance song, which was a fairly unknown track, and played it beautifully, and surprised us with playing it. Since we thought it was just going to be a recorded version of the song. That was very special to us! And they were more than happy to let my dad play his song to us. Overall, the band's performance was lively and engaging, and they kept our guests dancing all night long. We couldn't have asked for a better band to help make our wedding celebration so memorable, and couldn’t have done it with Scott!”
