Rachel Kost Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,950
  • Serves Wakpala, SD

I've been passionate about all art forms for as long as I can remember! I got into photography as a little middle schooler when I received a digital camera as a gift one year, and took pictures of random objects and landscapes, submitting them into local art shows and fairs. I put my passion on the backburner when I started focusing on my schooling and career. My husband gifted me a fancy camera with lenses for Christmas a few years back and it sparked my love once again! I have an artistic eye if I do say so myself, and love capturing those precious life moments!

From the get go, Rachel was very easy-going and fun to work with. Our wedding day was very smooth and she was in all the places she needed to be to capture the perfect moments! I could not recommend her enough!

Leah Flores Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Wakpala, SD for additional fees

I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my partner, two dogs, and four cats | 🏳️‍🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I turn 9 this year 🥳!

Awarded Best of Zola
I have used many photographers in the past but none came close to the level of expertise that Leah possesses. Over the years, I've done business headshots with her, family photos, and most recently my wedding. Since I have used Leah's services for other things before, I knew what to expect as far as photo-quality goes; the real testimonial comes from how she handled the wedding. Shooting a wedding in another country with a chaotic family is no easy task, even I wouldn't wish it upon myself, but Leah truly knocked it out of the park: she checked in before the event day to go over the schedule, showed up early, got all of the extra shots that I requested, directed people, and just really took charge of the experience. Having her as my wedding photographer was literally one of the only non-stressful decisions I made for that event lol. The photos turned out beautifully, I really can't imagine having anyone else capture one of the most important events of my life. I recommend her wholeheartedly!!

What if your photos actually looked and felt like you? Picture yourself 10 years from now on your wedding anniversary looking back at your wedding album with tears welling up in your eyes as you relive your day. Your wedding should not feel like a performance. Let go of boring wedding traditions, think outside of the box and create something unique that has never been done before. Whatever the perfect day looks like for you, why shouldn’t that be your wedding day? I am more than your wedding photographer, I am your guide, biggest fan, and the curator of your love story, I will also be the one tearing up from behind my lens.

Danielle went above and beyond to make sure that my husband and I had the perfect wedding day. Within minutes of our first video call with Danielle, we were sure that she was the perfect fit for our special day. She has such a personal touch about her that really stood out to us immediately - she was so interested in getting to know us as a couple and as individuals. Continually throughout our wedding planning process, Danielle would check in with us to answer any questions we had, offer suggestions and advice when needed and discuss our visions for our wedding day. She brought all our wedding day visions to life through her photography and beyond that, she brought a calming, fun-loving and positive energy. She captured so many special memories on our wedding day - the raw emotion, the candid moments, the beautiful landscapes, the laughs and everything in between. By the end of the day, my husband and I, and our guests, felt like Danielle was apart of the family. When we got our sneak peak photos back, it was impossible for us to choose favorites because every photo is just incredible. I cannot say enough good things about Danielle. She is incredibly talented at what she does and she is such a kind and caring person. She exceeded our expectations in SO many ways and we are so thankful that we chose her to be apart of our wedding day.

Maurissa is such an amazing human being! We could not have asked for anyone better to be our wedding photographer! We knew we loved her the minute we met her for our engagement session last winter. She is very outgoing, friendly and honest! She has been very responsive in communication from the beginning. Maurissa goes above and beyond just being a photographer. She made sure everything was lined up, provided a timeline for all the vendors, made sure to get every "must have" photo. Maurissa also helped make sure we enjoyed OUR day. I was very worried about the timeline and being behind on everything but she made sure to remind me that there is no timeline and this was our special day so anything we wanted she would make happen and the guests would be okay entertaining themselves until we were ready! We also got our sneak peaks back already and are so obsessed and cannot wait to see the rest. Maurissa will definitely be showing up in our future because we love her!!

Photography truly has a full grip on my soul– I love EVERYTHING about capturing special moments to be forever held in time! I consider my style to be way more candid, as I truly adore capturing an authentic experience that is almost tangible to the person viewing the photo. Most importantly, the quality of their work is stunning. We recently received a preview of some of our photos and were brought to tears by the beautiful images capturing our special day. Shannon and Ally have a true talent for capturing emotional moments without ever getting in the way. Hey, how cool of you to end up here. I promise not to bore you with a bunch of flowery language or over-the-top promises. I love to document real moments. Weddings, elopements, couples' shenanigans - you name it, I am here for it. I do this with a healthy dose of humor, a dash of sarcasm and a whole lot of heart. So if you're looking for someone to capture your story in all its imperfect glory, say something, let's make it happen.

Loy at Sweet Lime takes some great photos. He was a joy to work with and helped set the room up by providing a suggestion that none of the restaurant staff, or us, had thought of which ended up working swimmingly. The day of the wedding, he was present but also not too if that makes sense. He was kind enough to send us a couple preview shots while we impatiently/patiently waited. The photos are well worth the wait. I would be happy to recommend Sweet Lime Photography. You will not be disappointed in his service.

A true artist at heart, Danielle has spent over twenty-five years behind a camera. For over a decade she has specialized in recording couples and families in some of their most joyous moments. Utilizing both digital and film, she documents not only the major moments, but the minor moments, too, that sometimes go amiss: the grandmother gazing fondly at the new generation. The proud tearful eyes of a parent watching as their child embarks on an exciting new chapter. Big or small, with her trained eye Danielle captures every brushstroke to fully realize the memory of your special day.

Working with Danielle Bennie Photography was an absolute dream! From the initial consultation to the final delivery of the photos, Danielle exhibited unparalleled professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail. Her ability to capture the essence of the moment is truly remarkable. Danielle's warm and friendly demeanor made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. She took the time to understand our vision and preferences, ensuring that every shot reflected our personalities and the mood we wanted to convey. If you’re looking to hire a wedding photographer who can capture your big day in a “not so traditional” way, then you’re in the right place. We are Alternative Portraiture & Documentary Wedding Photographers based in sunny (and sometimes rainy) South Florida, and we like to think of ourselves as friendly, honest, and quirky (the good kind, we promise). We are creative beings at heart and love to tell stories unconventionally.

I'm an event planner that has worked with Erika since she first started her business. Her focus and hard work are the keystones to her success. Her photos are interesting, detailed, and totally unique. She has the ability to capture moments that are missed by most. Erika moves with the event and is flexible to ensure there is never additional stress, if anything she is a stress reducer. You can relax knowing that Erika is there to capture your day!

Storyteller Collective Photo Co., proudly located in Ames and serving the vibrant community of Des Moines, Iowa, and beyond. I began this company many moons ago with a solid purpose - to make people feel something and to evoke genuine emotions through my photography. My passion lies in documenting individuals as they live their best lives, immersed in the activities and passions that fuel their souls. As a non-traditional photographer, I thrive on capturing authentic memories rather than elaborate setups. It's about freezing moments in time that speak volumes and resonate deeply with those who experience them.

I have worked with Storyteller Collective as a second photographer (wedding), and she is so relaxed and also efficient. She works with a sense of urgency but doesn't rush her clients. She knows her stuff when it comes to weddings and knows exactly how to arrange the day so that it serves her client. She's also very, very good at adapting when things change (like when it rains on an outdoor ceremony) and reassuring her clients that we've still got it covered. She is a really good person who is fun to work with. She produces high quality work on the regular and her work is so beautiful!

Hi friend! Grace here. I’m from a small town in south-central PA, where I was raised on the great outdoors, drive-in movies, & board games. My husband is my best friend & we have an adorable toddler keeping us on our toes! We're all about Jesus, our people, traveling, coffee shops & our two Aussies. I’m a big advocate of seeing new places, deep talks under the stars & being near the mountains any chance I can get. I believe that marriage begins with a promise & a lifetime of memories follow after that. My clients are my friends & I feel privileged to begin this adventure with you!

I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. She was sooo easy to work with. Her visions aligned with mine, she was efficient and so sweet. I truly trusted her with everything in me and she did not disappoint! She traveled across the country for us and was a 10/10 human being and professional photographer. You need her!!

I'm a wedding and elopement photographer based in Colorado, but willing to travel anywhere with no travel fees in 2024! My style is very candid and photojournalistic. I aim to capture your day as it TRULY is. I'm there to document the big moments such as your first kiss and your vows, but also the little moments, like the way you two hold each other, or a glance from a family member that you don't get to see. I hope you look back on your photos and see things that you remember, but also get to see moments you might have missed.

I loved working with Hayley. As an Officiant, I know the importance of making a couple feel comfortable and heard. Hayley does just that for and with her couples. She is always willing to do whatever she can to get that perfect shot and be sure her couple is happy. It is an pleasure to work with her and I am always excited to see her wedding day photos.

Hi, I'm Alexx! I grew up in San Diego and went to school in Malibu to study media production & math (I know, weird combo). Since then, I've lived in both Point Loma in SD and in West LA, so I'm always popping around all of SoCal! I absolutely adore weddings for the love, celebration, joy, and romance, so I want to make sure those are your main feelings throughout the day! What that means is I will always remain a calm presence in the chaos to help keep you grounded, but also blend into the background to give you space to just experience your day!

I don't even know where to begin. Alexx was hands down the best photographer we could have asked for. From the start she was supper communicative and within a day of inquiry, we had set up a time to chat and get acquainted. She is incredibly professional, but still super personable! We had so much fun with her at our engagement shoot, and the photos were INCREDIBLE. Her style is so organic and she makes you feel very comfortable from the start. She gave us so many tips leading up to the wedding about what to have ready for her and at what time, while still being super flexible with us if we needed to adapt. Day of with her was a breeze, too! She lead us through all of our photos and we wrapped up family photos quickly enough thanks to her that we were able to spend more time with our guests/family before the reception which was amazing! She had our previews to us within a few days and we are OBSESSED with every photo!! We cannot wait to see the full gallery :) Thank you so much for everything, Alexx!!!

I fell in love with the art of Photography about 7 years ago and have looked at everything through a viewfinder since. I can't go anywhere without mentally composing a photo or wondering what angle I could use to make something look more interesting. I started taking photos for friends and family and quickly fell in love with the concept of saving a moment forever, in a unique way only I could. The technology surrounding photo-taking has come so far that everyone has the ability to snap a picture with their smartphone just about wherever they're at; but to me, the value of high quality photography will never be outdated or lose it's value.

Classic meets contemporary and vibrant. Although I do all types of shoots, I specialize in wedding photography and all the beauty it has to offer. I prioritize in capturing the essential moments of your wedding to give you cherished memories to look back on for a lifetime.

There are many things I can say about Michaela and 3leafphotography but the most important is how comfortable you can be around her. She is such a kind soul and she will give you the best pictures. She’s a photo wizard and I wouldn’t have anyone else do my pictures. She knows her stuff. If you are looking for someone you can instantly connect with and feel your absolute best, you can trust her to give you that. She is an artist and like I said, I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do my pictures. I have all the confidence to tell you that she is who you want!
