Photography truly has a full grip on my soul– I love EVERYTHING about capturing special moments to be forever held in time! I consider my style to be way more candid, as I truly adore capturing an authentic experience that is almost tangible to the person viewing the photo. I want the viewer to feel the emotion and as if they were there with us right back in that moment. I love realness of a perfect candid shot…my goal—especially with couples—is to get to the heart of their connection and connect with my couples, as well, to truly make them feel comfortable in front of the lens so that we can get to those authentic magic shots!

Spending a little extra time and going above and beyond to make the day truly memorable and special is something I really love to do and strive to leave sessions beyond memorable! I truly believe in doing anything I can to make your day less stressful. I am more than just your photographer-- I usually end up being a coordinator, organizer, middle man, best friend and therapist. I tend to leave sessions and weddings with friends for life and wouldn't have it any other way.

Shannon is such an awesome photographer! She really pays attention to all of the details, big or small, to get the perfect shot every time. We did our engagement photos with her and those turned out amazing, so we were confident that our wedding photos would turn out just the same, and she was always down to match mine and my husband’s silly vibe for photos as well. She was great with communication, she’s usually just a text away. We loved having her as our photographer, and we’re even thinking about booking with her for other small photo sessions because she was just that awesome!

We had the pleasure of working with MoonTide Media for our wedding photography/videography. Shannon and Ally were an absolute joy to work with from start to finish. Their communication throughout the planning process was fantastic - they consistently kept us updated on travel plans and made sure we were all on the same page regarding the photography timeline. Most importantly, the quality of their work is stunning. We recently received a preview of some of our photos and were brought to tears by the beautiful images capturing our special day. Shannon and Ally have a true talent for capturing emotional moments without ever getting in the way. They were the hardest working team at our venue, going above and beyond to get every possible shot we could have imagined. Can not recommend Shannon enough! She traveled to Oahu, Hawaii and took the most amazing pictures of our vow renewal. She is professional and truly amazing at what she does! Every shot was a picture of our dreams and I’m so thankful for her talent!
