Hartsoe Farms was phenominal. They far exceeded my expectations. When we booked our wedding, Kasey Hartsoe showed us a book of decorations to choose from. She helped me customize my tables based off my color choices and she put the flowers and decorations together. During the process after I left, she sent me pictures until I was satisfied with the results. I love that they set up and tear down for the clients! When we took our photos, there were so many locations to choose from. Its so peaceful and beautiful out there on the farm. Since our wedding almost two years ago there have been numerous improvements to the property. The shelter is now closed in with a beautiful gray wood on the exterior and a brown rustic look on the inside. The beautiful fairy lights make you feel transported. They also built a beautiful bridge you can take pictures on or walk over into the woods where there is alsp a bench to take pictures or get away for a private moment to speak as newly weds. I particularly like The Lounge where you can get ready or do touch ups before your event. The "Bridal" suite is elegant with many places to sit and a bar in the bathroom to do your make up. The "Grooms" suite is very manly, and well decorated. They provide wine glasses and whisky glasses for a sophisticated look in photos and for your guests in the bridal/groom lounge. They also added some out door bathrooms so your guests dont have to go all the way into the Lounge. They also do your music for you if you send a playlist. Overall, I can't believe this location is as cheap as it is with the services provided. If i could give 11/10 stars I would!! Thanks Hartsoe Farms for the perfect wedding!

Separk Mansion is a wedding venue located in Gastonia, North Carolina that is just 20 minutes from Charlotte. This renovated mansion is designed with beautiful weddings in mind and will give you an elegant backdrop that will create a celebration that is full of everlasting memories. Separk Mansion is ideal for both indoor and outdoor weddings. The first floor ballroom retains old vintage hardwood floors and has a ceiling that shimmers with crystal chandeliers. At the front there is a large staircase as well as large front doors that lead to an expansive limestone veranda that can be used for a cocktail hour. This impressive estate was built in 1919 by textile mogul Joseph Separk. He lived in the mansion with his wife and son during the 1920s. In 2012 it underwent complete renovation and is currently one of the most popular locations for ceremonies and receptions. The mansion is part of the York Chester Historic District and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Working with Separk was super easy from start to finish. We had Hannah as our wedding coordinator and she did a great job with creating and sticking to the timeline. She also did great at setting up our decor items and some flowers we brought to the venue. She was very communicative with us and our bridal party/family so that everyone knew what was expected from them for the ceremony. Overall we had a great experience with Separk and had the most perfect wedding thanks to them!

Many of the trees use to build the barn were harvested from their property and were prepared at their saw mill on site. What began as a simple dream and a sketch on a piece of notebook paper, has now become a reality. Their communication style was clear, professional, and concise - they were always on point and easy to work with, even remaining calm throughout the process. The quality of their work was simply amazing - the venue was absolutely beautiful, and we felt we received incredible value for the price. Katie was particularly wonderful, as she was spot on with executing our vision for the day. The entire Zimmerwald family made us feel like part of their own, and they have truly become a part of our wedding story. DuGaren Venues & Vineyards is a family owned business located in Denver, NC. The total square footage of the Venue is 10,000 square feet. There are so many unique elements of the Venue such as the large Winery space entrance doors that were obtained from an old home in Savannah GA, and the free standing fireplace at the Pavilion that was from the original home built on the land back in the 1800's. The venue is a mix of elegance meet rustic and loved by all!

The venue is gorgeous and can be customized for any occasion or theme. The venue offers lots of options on rental spaces and rentable items. The overlook behind the venue to the growing vineyard was a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony. On top of the venue, the owners and their team went above and beyond to make sure everything about our day was perfect. We are so so grateful and can’t wait for more memories at the vineyard!

First, it’s beautiful. We did our ceremony at a Catholic church down the street and had our reception at the Rafters, but my favorite photos are by far the ones we took in front of the St Mark’s chapel- it’s so romantic! As a reception venue, it is very reasonably priced, and has everything you could need. We got ready in the adorable carriage house, and we also did my bridal shoot there a few weeks before the wedding- they turned out beautifully. Also, if you book with their caterer (The Flyin’ Lions), you get a discount AND support a good cause! But that’s not even the best part: their food is AMAZING. I am literally still dreaming about the salmon and mashed potatoes from my wedding day, and so many guests told me how much they loved the food. The taste testing was fun too, they have a ton of options! Also, Allison is the best coordinator EVER. You will love working with her, and every vendor I hired that had worked with her before told me the same thing! She is so personable and really gets to know you, and she will bend over backwards to help you with whatever you need. She is fantastic with communication; her responsiveness and helpfulness alone reduced my wedding planning stress. I also loved the preferred vendor list Allison provided; it made it a lot easier to narrow down our vendor choices! Allison and Debbie (from Flyin’ Lions) made our wedding and all the months leading up to it so special and wonderful; we cannot recommend them enough!

We are nestled in Huntersville just outside of Charlotte, NC. We have several rooms to choose from to accommodate all party sizes. Our Magnolia Ballroom seats up to 225 guests and includes a large covered patio with a casual feel. The patio can be used as a Wedding Ceremony space or a gather space for meetings or other events. The Magnolia Commons is an open event space that will fit up to 60 guests. Our on-site caterer, Savory Moments will provide decadent meals for any occasion. The sister-owned company recently celebrated their 10 year anniversary - saying they know everything about exceptional food would be an understatement!

We had the opportunity to work at Magnolia Woods two consecutive weekends. The first week with Jodie one of the owners and Amy the Office Manager. The next week with Heather the other owner and Chris the Day of Coordinator. They were all extremely professional and made sure our couples were very well taking care of. During the week before both events, we had an on-site visit and communicated by email with Amy. She was always prompt with her responses and very accommodating. Needless to say, the whole team for both weddings were equally accommodating. Magnolia Woods also provide off-site catering as well. I would highly recommend Magnolia Woods to anyone looking for a venue for any type of event. Awesome team of professionals, great location, delicious food, and a very nice facility.
