Although the venue does not provide catering or event rentals, We do have a list of trusted preferred vendors who have years of professional experience. The long list of preferred vendors & caterers that Hakone Estate and Gardens provides range from caterers and florists to entertainment and officiants. Each of our preferred vendors have worked with Hakone Estate and Gardens before and is familiar with the venue’s policies and regulations.

Our 3000 square foot space is located in the historic Cotton Mill district of Oakland. Just off the 880 freeway, Flowhouse is located just east of Brooklyn Basin and directly opposite the Embarcadero Cove pier. We have two beautiful dance studios that can be used for dancing as well as dinner set up. One studio can also be used as dressing room area. We also have a beautiful living room and lobby area that can be used for a buffet set up, receiving area, and cocktail area.
