I didn't have many 'must have' flowers but I did have a few I liked and a few I didn't, and that's all I had to tell her! I had purchased some dyed/dried florals and peacock feathers before I organized with Dana and she was even willing to add these items in for me! “I had received a floral arrangement from Fleur de Lis before we got engaged and I had noted how beautiful and elevated it was, so when it was time to look at wedding florists, Lana (the owner) was the first one we called. Our consultation went so well - I was not 100% sure what I wanted, but showed some Pinterest inspiration and Lana asked all the right questions and showed us options on tabletop decor, flowers for the arrangements and bouquets/boutonnieres. We left feeling so confident and excited to receive the proposal - which we received super quick and signed immediately - we were so impressed with all of the details and pricing was very in line with what we were hoping for (we got married during Christmas time and the club was already going to be heavily decorated, so we didn't need as much as a bare venue would ). Some wedding florists in the area won't even talk with you unless you can meet a high $ minimum - Lana is not that way. To start, you meet with a floral consultant where you talk through your wedding details, the vibe you’re going for, the general needs, etc. Then they walk you through a list of various wedding floral options: bouquets, table arrangements, signage florals, ceremony florals, etc., and you start to narrow down what you want. In each section, they have a grouping of photos, and you can either select something from that or ask for more options. You can also tweak what they have shown (I picked florals that had eucalyptus in them and requested everything be switched to ruscus). “OMG! I absolutely love Katy. From the initial appointment to determine what our vision was for the wedding and reception decor, I felt very at ease with Katy. Katy took great care to try and learn what my vision was for the wedding and how to use her expertise to create what I wanted. I liked that - and this enabled us to truly create a custom one of a kind look for our big day. Katy was kind, accommodating and responsive to emails, texts and phone calls. I would bounce things off of Katy and without hesitation, she would first clarify what my vision was, and then add her input based on her expert eye for detail, color coordination, etc. On the day of my wedding, I broke down into tears at the beautiful, dreamy atmosphere that Katy and her team had created for my spouse and I. It was literally everything thing I had dreamed of; it had the glitz, glamour, bling, sparkle, romance and more than I wanted. Katy even added touches here and there that she felt were needed to add more beauty to the venue. She exercised her creative rights. My guests could not and have not stopped talking about the beauty of it all. Additionally, a few days before the wedding, I was not pleased with a mock up of my bouquet (provided by another vendor) - and Katy to the rescue! Within about 3-4 business days, Katy and her staff PERSONALLY delivered the most beautiful, sparkling bouquet that I have ever seen (along with a jr. bouquet and corsages). She made it her business to make me happy. I am truly sad that I won't be talking to Katy as much any more since the wedding is now over. Katy delivered on ALLLLLLL levels and I can't say enough about her. Thank you soo much Katy. You will forever be a better part of our memories.
