Big Rock Creek in Saint Croix Falls, WI, is a stunning estate and wedding venue originally established in the late 1800s as a Trout Hatchery. The old barn, standing since 1915, has been elegantly renovated into an 11,000-square-foot event space! This is the place to host your wedding if you want a spot the entire family will enjoy! Bloom Lake Barn is a freshly renovated wedding and event venue located in Shafer, Minnesota near the gorgeous St. Croix River. Set in the picturesque St. Croix valley, Bloom Lake Barn provides that "out of the way" country charm a short 40-mile drive from the Twin Cities. The wooden barn is enormous and contains vaulted ceilings and gorgeous chandelier and cafe lighting. The lower level of the barn is another unique space containing rustic beams and high-top tables built from original stanchions. The courtyard includes a Pavillion, bonfire pit, lawn games, and a walking trail through the woods

This amazing adventure began in 2016, since then we've hosted over 130 couples and their families and friends. Getting to know them is one of my favorite things. Surrounded by fields and forests, the Braham Event Center is a modern banquet hall with rustic decor on the outside and a modern, open floor plan on the inside. Our main feature is our large window with a view to beautiful birch trees, perfect for ceremonies in addition to receptions. The center can host parties of up to 400 people, with a large lobby and a library which serves as the bridal suite. Our on-site caterer, Kathy’s Kitchen, provides delicious and affordable meals. Kathy's Kitchen specializes in cooking from scratch and we enjoy the chance to customize to fit a price point or a favorite meal or side dish. The Braham Event Center is located one hour north of Minneapolis and St. Paul, just off Highway 65 on the outskirts of Braham, Minnesota, minutes away from Pine City, Rush City, Mora, and Cambridge, and is conveniently located between Duluth and the Twin Cities.

Located just one hour from the Twin Cities and 30 minutes from Eau Claire, the venue offers a mix of natural elegance and modern conveniences, providing a versatile space for weddings and celebrations. Forestville Winery and Event Center encompasses 17 acres of beauty and serenity. 2024 marks our sixth season hosting events and memories to guests from all over the world. Our Event building is currently undergoing major renovation and will be completed by April of 2024. The climate controlled space will feature spacious room for 150 guests in a “country elegant” décor. The building features a Bride’s suite with full bathroom and private patio. Also inside is a wine and beer service area, a catering kitchen, a food serving area, a stage for Musicians and spacious restrooms, Most Ceremonies are held outside near the Vineyard, weather permitting. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the Ceremonies can be held under our Event tent. The Forestville property is also home to a completely renovated one room School constructed in 1897 and used as a school until 1964. The School building houses our wine and beer tasting room and also the Groom’s Suite for weddings.

In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

Our story starts with the kindred spirits of our family, our parents. Our mother’s knack for hosting celebrations brought our family closer over the years. Not only has our mother influenced our enthusiasm for hosting events, her master gardening skills are a base to our esthetic here at Sunflower Hill. Her creativity and spirit have rubbed off on us kids and we want to share our love for events and gardens at Sunflower Hill. Our fathers know how and farming expertise have also influenced our approach to our venue. Not only do we continually add to the gardens here and try to make them better, we strive to make the fields just as beautiful.
