In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

The Sinclair on Grand is Northeast Minneapolis Gem. Tucked back it offers a private setting near the heart of the city. Built in 1905, this building is located in the heart of Northeast Minneapolis. This event space has a great industrial vibe with some beautiful rustic elements added in to make this a perfect space to hold all types of celebrations! We offer a very raw industrial space with massive beams and high ceilings. With an outdoor ceremony space and patio, you are able to have your city wedding with a secluded feel. Rustic, historic, picturesque. Pique Travel Design, located in historic Excelsior, pays homage to its name with thoughtfully curated aesthetics that evoke a need for exploration. Constructed in the 1940s and originally home to the Lyman Lumber Warehouse, this 3,000 square foot event space just outside Minneapolis enjoyed a complete restoration in 2014. The stunning amenities include reclaimed materials, a built-in tiered concrete bar and full-length deck that evokes the feeling of a historic train depot.

The Copper Hen is a farm-to-table kitchen and bakery that specializes in making the best from-scratch, French-American comfort food. We utilize local ingredients and have a full cocktail bar to support an award-winning lineup of food and desserts. For your special day we offer two options.
