Once home to the likes of Kroger, Bender Liquor Supply, and Spano’s Market, this beautiful building offers historic charm and modern amenities with a splash of elegance. From the second you walk in the door, you fall in love with the exposed rafters, brick walls, original wood floors, and a limestone wall dating back to 1832. From there, you can go through our glass garage door to an incredible enclosed courtyard, complete with string lights, fire feature, and artificial turf. Our bar is fully stocked, and while we could try to describe the aesthetics, words don’t do it justice. Seriously. Check out the pictures. Two private dressing rooms make getting ready fun and easy. And while we don't like to brag, the restrooms here are pretty dope. Again, look at the pictures! We offer a prep kitchen for the licensed caterer of your choice to use!

The business actually began back in 1981 with roasting a pig over an open fire in the back yard for a class reunion. We got married on October 31st, 2020, and while planning a wedding that year was full of ups and downs and confusions for a multitude of other reasons, All Occasions was a beacon of reliability and clear communication that we were very grateful for. Everything tasted great, many of my guests complimented the meal, and I really love how the table décor looked. As our wedding was Halloween themed, I invited the staff to dress up, and I was happy to see that they did and also had a good time. Friendly, Skilled, and Flexible, I would absolutely recommend All Occasions Catering to anyone planning an event or wedding. My wedding reception was one of the best nights of my life, and I am thankful for the role they played in it.

We’ve used Heart Hill for two events so far and it’s exceeded all of our expectations! The property is absolutely breathtaking, the building for the event was clean and big enough for all our family and friends, and the owner was very friendly and easy to work with us on everything from start to finish. It makes you feel like you’re walking into a fairytale and I can’t imagine going back to the hotel meeting rooms or clubhouses we’ve used in the past. We LOVED The Beverly Mansion. We live in Columbus, and with our families in NE and West Ohio, this was the perfect middle point. Tim was extremely communicative and made the process a breeze for logistics and the catering. 7 months later, our guests are still raving about the venue and food! We go to 6-7 weddings a year and can truly attest that what Beverly has to offer, and the price point, can't be matched! If we had to do it all over again, we'd still pick Beverly!

We, as caterers, were able to communicate easily with her from when the wedding planning began through the day and evening of the event. We were able to work together in a way that gave the bride and groom nothing to worry about on their special day. I cannot say enough amazing things about Meeker’s Venue. The staff, the venue, the services offered, and for the price?? Cannot be beat. They are a family that truly cares about your day and your vision. As someone planning our wedding from out of town they were so flexible through the planning process. They’ve done this so many times they really think of everything, absolutely nothing on my day went wrong. I cannot thank Tess and John enough. My only note as something to know for a future bride is that while we LOVE the vintage look/feel off the bell tower, watch your white dresses on the floor! It’s a little dusty up there! Nothing we couldn’t buff out but just a note!

I want to start by saying I was not at all looking for a “barn” or a “rustic” place to get married. The Barn at Walnut Creek is so much more though... the space is so versatile that you can really make it more modern inside, or stick with a rustic vibe. It’s such a beautiful venue, so we were excited when we found out how reasonable the pricing is—much lower than some of the other upscale venues in the area. The bridal suite was amazing to use on the day of the wedding! The bar space was perfect, and the restrooms are really nice too. All of our guests loved the space and had a great experience overall! The owner was wonderful to work with—she was so helpful throughout the entire planning process! I recommend this venue highly!

The Hancock Hotel was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we started planning, their communication was direct, responsive, and attentive. On our special day, the staff was friendly to guests and on pointe to our needs, and they even took our gifts up to our suite at the end of the night. The Hancock Hotel had everything we could have needed all in one beautiful space. The hotel was brightly decorated for the season with lights, trees, snowflakes and more, which fit in with our theme perfectly. The entire event was so streamlined from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception. Our main choice in deciding to go with the Hancock Hotel was that it was going to make it easy for our guests to not have to travel to multiple locations. The food was absolutely delicious, over a month out from the event, our guests are still talking about it. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate our marriage.

The Hotel at Oberlin ended up being the perfect place for our wedding. The location is close to pretty much anything you'll need for a wedding weekend. It's within a 1 minute walk to a variety of potential photograph locations (e.g. Hall Auditorium, Tappan Square...) as well as business (e.g. salons, restaurants, cafes) that can help your wedding day go smoothly. There are also a variety of potential ceremony locations within walking distance. We chose the Apollo Theater across the street. The team at the hotel, especially Lauren, was responsive and helpful every step of the way. The chef and Lauren worked together to accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions and requests (e.g. extra entree option, catered lunch and snacks...). They were also helpful with managing the linen rentals, room design, and room block reservations. Guests were charmed by Oberlin and gave us feedback that they enjoyed being able to slow and down and enjoy small town life during the weekend. Brookshire caught our attention when searching for venues for their beautiful ceremony outdoor space and the all inclusive aspects of the venue. Both of those impressed us throughout the whole wedding planning process and afterwards when seeing our wedding photos. Kira was our amazing coordinator through Brookshire and she was very easy to communicate with and helped us plan the details for our big day. Leading up to it and on the day of we felt confident that with her and the staff everything would run smoothly. With Brookshire being all-inclusive it was very easy to pick out the details we wanted regarding cake, centerpieces, linens, food/drink, dj and more because Brookshire had all of those vendors booked for us. We just got to tell each vendor our ideas and then they took care of the work making it come to life at Brookshire. We were glad we could also bring some personal touches into Brookshire and have the coordinators help us arrange those. All of our guests were impressed with the food quality, the outdoor and indoor space along with the smoothness of how the wedding day ran. We truly got to enjoy our day as Brookshire was very organized and made sure our day was just how we wanted it to be. Thank you for the attention to detail, open communication and great staff making it our best day ever!
