Milton Ridge was an incredible place to get married! The beauty of the venue and the inclusive wedding options (i.e. catering, DJ, etc.) made this the absolute perfect place to say, "I do!" The getting ready suites were superb & made the day of preparation before the ceremony seamless. The chapel was so beautiful and such a great little spot off the side of 355. Our guests still comment on the simplicity of how we decorated the chapel, and how beautiful the white walls and natural light streaming in were during the ceremony. I was not sure how we'd get group photos on the property... and our photographers were able to use the beautiful stone and green areas within the venue to capture the most beautiful photos of the bride, groom and the wedding party! Guests are still RAVING about how convenient it was to walk up a few stairs to the cocktail hour AND into the reception. They marveled at the ease... park your car, attend the ceremony and then stay and party all night long until it's time to leave! The reception hall was beautiful; the buffet food was to die for; and Meghan and Brandi ensured that EVERY detail of our wedding day was accounted for, seamless and flowing without any hitch! I cannot recommend Milton Ridge enough! Thank you for making our wedding day the most memorable and BEST day of our lives! We owe it to this team, this venue and their support with planning our wedding every step of the way!

The historic, beautiful, and energizing waterfront location was quintessentially Baltimore and truly made our special day feel unique and memorable. On the actual wedding day, their coordination was fantastic - they took care of all the little details and vendor logistics allowing us to relax and focus on enjoying ourselves. The space is also quite flexible; we were able to have both our ceremony and reception on-site. Overall, Elkridge Furnace Inn provided excellent value with their scenic venue and experienced team. We booked a tour with Cold Saturday Farm on a whim, but holy cow am I glad that we did! We met with Brittany on a pretty dreary day in the winter, and even then I could see the beauty in the venue. It truly is a blank canvas that you can really make your own. Plus, the venue checked all the boxes that were super important to us: onsite getting ready spaces for both us, free onsite parking, guest tables and chairs included, and access to the venue all day. For the price, it was a great value. Brittany did end up leaving Cold Saturday, and we do wish that had been proactively communicated to us, but her replacement, Meredith, was fantastic, especially because she started the week before our wedding (I'm pretty sure we were her first wedding at the venue). But she was incredibly helpful and friendly--we actually had guests come up to us and tell us how awesome she was! The only other thing I wish we had known ahead of time was that the getting ready room the guys used didn't have any furniture. It was still being worked on during our tours, so we didn't actually see the room until the day of. So the room may have furniture at some point. Overall, we loved Cold Saturday Farm. It is truly a hidden gem (none of our vendors have ever worked there before but all of them said they loved it), so I really love that it was a pretty unique and beautiful place to have our wedding.

We had our wedding in the ballroom. Very scenic and beautiful venue! Overall a pretty good venue that includes food, tables, chairs, linens, etc. The ballroom house itself is beautiful with lots of light indoors due to the large windows, and a nice deck for an outside ceremony. Zoe communicated with us and answered all our questions and did our tasting and planning, until a week before the actual day where we were assigned a day of coordinator. I found this system to be not great, since the day of coordinator was essentially a stranger that you've never talked to at all, and you basically have to re explain everything you want. Even though they have an online planning tool (which is old and outdated), I found that they got our aisle directions wrong, the reception layout wrong, and our dinner meals were wrong. Thankfully, we had a separate planner that was able to correct these things, so I recommend getting an outside coordinator that works directly with you if you have room in the budget. Another thing was our limited setup time of 1.5 hours meaning the florist and other vendors couldn't set up earlier with more elaborate decorations and had to do something simple. I found out that this is because they had another wedding at the same place before ours (literally ending at 4) and so they rush to get the place cleaned for the evening wedding. The main room and the suit was renovated, but the bathrooms were all still dingy and not the best/cleanest to use. The food was good though, better than we had at our tasting and they got it out fast. Our vendors were fed the same food, and our guests thought it was pretty good wedding food. Apart from the couple hiccups we had, we thought the venue was great overall and really beautiful and we don't regret having our wedding there at all. It could be a little bit better in the small details for the price though.

The Christian Royer House was the best venue for my wedding! What Michelle & Jerry offer for their couples goes above and beyond anything else I've seen offered by other wedding venues & owners. They provide decorations, ceremony centerpieces, two separate floors for the bridal party to get ready, a honeymoon cabin, and a detailed planner with tips and tricks to help you plan a wedding according to their venue. The venue is gorgeous and the fountain in the background made the ceremony so peaceful and romantic. We absolutely loved how our wedding turned out and the support Michelle & Jerry gave us was so helpful! Booking them was the best decision we made during the wedding process and highly recommend 100%!

We booked this venue due to how beautiful, classical, and elegant it looked. The price was also very fair and reasonable, however you really have to be aware of what you are getting when you book. The space is wonderful but you are truly just getting use of the space without any additional service. The employees of the Liriodendron were difficult to get in touch with following our booking. There was some staff turnover between booking and the day of our event that wasn't properly communicated. Additionally, they do not provide some of the day of services that were mentioned during our tour. The employee they had there on the day of our ceremony and reception basically was there to unlock the doors and to let us know when our time was up in the evening. If you are going to book with this venue, I would anticipate hiring a planner, or at the very least, a day of coordinator. Despite this, the venue is truly stunning and it photographed better than we could have imagined!

Camp Hidden Valley was the perfect venue for our wedding weekend! We were able to snag a June weekend for our wedding and it provided an incredible experience for us and our guests. The venue isn't too hard to find and as long as you communicate well with your guests the check in and check out our easy. There are multiple ceremony locations which is great since you never know what the weather in Maryland will do on a given weekend. The venue crew is easy to work with and were able to accommodate multiple pre-wedding day visits so we could get all of our ducks in a row. Extra shout out to Lindsay for being super on top of communications and overall a huge help!

We only host 10 weddings a year, since we give you the whole 31 acres for an entire weekend, as well as provide 5-star overnight accommodations for 30 people. You can leisurely set up your wedding exactly the way you want it. Have your rehearsal on site the night before, sleep on property, and have no worries about traveling to your wedding! Hemlock Farm is an incredible place, and the owner, Jennifer, is absolutely amazing to work with. Our experience with Hemlock Farm was everything we wanted for our wedding weekend - including that we could stay there if we wanted to both Friday and Saturday nights. She had suggestions for other wonderful vendors to work with, to simply being a beautiful location. The Bridal Suite in the air-conditioned Barn was such a highlight to have our hair and make up done Saturday am. A plus was being so close to all major shopping areas for any last minute items needed. So glad we found Hemlock Farm!
