“Creek bend was such a perfect fit for our wedding, we essentially wanted a field but the house of the grounds was the cherry on top. When it was a bit rainy the house was the perfect place to take pictures, we loved the dark wood library! The only thing that was disappointing is that we wanted to get ready at the venue but they wouldn’t open until 9:00 which wouldn’t have given us enough time to get ready for the ceremony. They were easy to communicate with and worked well with our wedding planner. Would definitely recommend!”

“We had our reception on the first floor and it was so perfect for us. It was so nice that there were multiple rooms to step away from the dance floor and have a private conversation or out on the balcony and view the river and cool off. The food is the best banquet hall food I’ve ever had. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Highly recommend.”

“This Venue is tucked away in downtown Elgin. It has a beautiful rustic theme. It has hardwood floors and exposed brick throughout the venue that really helps it stand out from any other venues I’ve looked at. We are getting married here in April. It has a huge bridal suite and the groom gets his own room too! The staff is really what makes this venue what it is. Marilyn was so helpful and attentive through the whole process of us getting married. Chris the Beverage Director and her bar staff were amazing and made the tastiest cocktails! Will recommend this venue to all my friends and family!”

The Haight is a wedding and event venue located in Elgin, IL and is enveloped by a historic neighborhood, for a romantic and storied setting for your wedding. This converted warehouse was originally constructed in the 1890s. It began as the Elgin Storage & Transfer Company. Over the years numerous companies used the building until 1985 when it was bought by John Haight, who refurbished the building. The Haight features two floors and a rooftop area. Brick walls and hardwood flooring accent exposed ductwork. There are multiple spaces for hosting your ceremony, reception, and many other wedding-related gatherings. On the first floor, there is room for up to 175 guests standing. This makes the 2,000-square-foot space ideal for the cocktail reception. The second floor features 7,000 square feet of space. 250 people seated or 200 people seated with a dance floor can fit in this event area. You can also take your celebrations outside on the spacious rooftop deck.
