An enchanting new chapter starts at The Highland Loft.

This beautiful loft is the ultimate blank canvas on which to create your vision with a great central Elgin location. Oversized floor-to-ceiling windows stream ample light onto the golden hardwood floors and weathered brick walls, and a beautiful ceiling of decorative pressed-tin tiles adds a vintage charm. Our space can be divided into smaller sections for an intimate affair, or to create individualized areas during a larger event—whatever your imagination can divine!

    Worked several events with Marilyn and her team over at the Highland Loft. I'm always impressed with the venues setup options and hospitality. Always a pleasure bringing clients vision to life over years of experience. Excited to be back this fall! This is one of my fav venues in Elgin.

    Rude and unprofessional day of coordinator. Could hear the wedding upstairs the entire night, kicked out 30 min before my contract time ended. Nice place and nice owner, but otherwise the venue was disappointing.

    If you want to look for a venue that is beautiful and elegant, this is the one to book, the area, inside the building and even down to the staff everything is amazing and worth every cent

    The venue is beautiful but the owner is very rude. When we first booked they were still a newer venue and everyone seemed great. As time went on and the owner expanded im not sure if they took on to much or if the niceness was a facade but she started becoming short with us and became very forgetful. On the day of our rehersal her attitude toward us was appalling. We left very upset and feeling as though we shouldnt have booked the space. No one deserves to be talked down to the way we were. Especially when we paid the prices we did to rent that space. Their prices are only going up and the way the owner speaks with her paying clients is only getting worse. The 2nd star is only because the venue at least looks nice.
