A piece of history… The Cool Springs House has a long and colorful history. In 1830, James and Penelope Barfield Carothers built the original two log rooms of the Cool Springs House located at what is presently the intersection of Mallory Lane and Cool Springs Boulevard. Many years later, the house had major renovations done to it by adding the second story, the downstairs hall, and the front porch. In 2015, James and Marissa Lowry hosted their wedding on the property. With over 400 guests and a beautiful ceremony under the Osage tree, an idea was brought to life. With hard work, dedication, and of course faith, James and Marissa sought to build a place where Family and Friends come to gather. Our modern barn provides the perfect reception space. Inside you will find beautifully placed round tables for guests and long wooden tables and chairs for the bridal party.

Our microvenue includes the coveted Greenhouse for intimate ceremonies. We also have the outdoor Rose arch blanketed by a luscious landscape and beautiful trees. Our 62x60 signature black and white barn has concrete floors and chandelier lighting with a caterers kitchen and bathrooms. We have a bridal suite and grooms suite. A pavilion is also attached for outdoor entertaining. We have two ceremony sites on the farm. Our sought after greenhouse can accommodate 35 people. Our garden arbor can accommodate our maximum capacity of 50 people. With your rental, you have access to our decor closet. We also have a guest house that houses 4 that can be used for your wedding party.

Our ceremony site is surrounded by trees and looks out onto the lake, giving our ceremonies a private, natural, feeling. We are well known for our beach, which expands a large part of our front yard! The beach is amazing for elopements, cocktail hours, cookouts and photos!
