Remnants of a 200-year-old stone barn, a springhouse, protected forests, abundant wildlife and a 55-acre arboretum paint a scene of incredible beauty and tranquility. Formal gardens and terraces surround the venerable estate house, its earliest roots traced back to the 1740s. Listed on the National Historic Register, the residence lends a time-honored backdrop for indoor/outdoor events. The foundations of the barn were first laid in the 1820’s, with the current structure built in the 1930’s. Once a large orchard, the farm continues to be an operating crop farm. Renovations of this historic barn and property provide updated conveniences while still remaining true to its natural charm. The venue offers several distinct areas that can be used for ceremonies and gatherings, including the main barn; a large deck and patio overlooking fields & mountains; and a beautifully landscaped lawn and patio area.
