I have been fortunate to photograph a number of weddings at The Barn over the past several years. There is a reason The Barn is one of the most sought after venues in Vermont to host a wedding. From the elegant design of the main wedding barn to the gorgeous views behind your ceremony location, be prepared to have your breath taken away from the moment you arrive on the property. And the best part of all? You have the incredible team from The Barn with you every step of the way. Steve, Jenn and the 'family' of dedicated staff has your event as the highest priority. The level of attention and dedication to your event being the best day of your life is unprecedented in the industry. Photographing weddings at The Barn are the highlight of my year.

We had our wedding at Arrowhead Golf Course last October. The place is beautiful and all went well. It was so stress free with Linda, the event coordinator. They catered the meal, decorated and easily accommodated all of our extra requests. We had the best time and our friends commented on that it was the best wedding they had been to in ages. We had a great meal, a band and dancing and so much fun. I would 100% recommended them.

If we could get married here again we would! Sailing Center was a joy to work with, very communicative and helpful, always ready to open their doors to us for umpteen visits to the deck during the planning stage or to lend us supplies like the elegant lights we had hanging overhead on the big day. The wedding itself was a dream. We got married in summer on the large third floor outdoor covered deck with a breathtaking view of Lake Champlain. Sunset made for GREAT pictures on the promenade and nearby dock. We had no problems with all our vendors getting set up and there was more than enough room for both dining area and dance floor for our ~80ish guests. You also get access to a neat attached observation deck, there is a commercial elevator for easy up and down transfer of all rental items, and bathrooms one level down. Just make sure to plan ahead for parking which is metered and public, but there are plenty of spots. It was the best night of our lives!

During our initial tour, Adrienne's calm and collected demeanor, event planning experience, and confidence in her team immediately hooked us, and was very apparent the day of. Throughout our wedding weekend, we always felt like we were in good hands - taken care of and our preferences valued. The professionalism, courtesy, and heart of all staff members was unparalleled throughout the weekend. Chef Sam is also a huge selling point - with a strong emphasis on locally sourced and seasonal ingredients the food he and his team cooked for our wedding was unbelievably tasty. During our tasting prior to the event, many members of our party were so moved by the clear passion Chef Sam has for his craft. We can promise you will not be disappointed, and your expectations will likely be far exceeded, if you select Mad River Barn for your special events!
