The Whitehurst family desired a sacred space to host family affairs. This cornerstone planted our roots. Those same roots still hold their meaning… A family-established business, carrying a legacy under new ownership, from one Whitehurst sister to another. Logan, the youngest sister and new owner, is so proud to announce that Whitehurst Lake House is officially accepting bookings for 2024-2026. Located in the heart of downtown Washington, NC, the Washington Civic Center is a sophisticated waterfront wedding venue. This spacious facility features 14,000 square feet of event space that can be used for all your wedding weekend activities. Formerly a train depot, the vaulted ceilings and exposed beams combine to make the space feel rustic and elegant. Hardwood floors offer a refined platform for the newlyweds to have a memorable first dance. The dark tones of wood and exposed brick help to create a warm and cozy experience. The Washington Civic Center has plenty of room for over 200 guests. The venue offers a two-day package for weddings which opens up endless opportunities for a personalized celebration. Make sure to ask about our Something Borrowed room that contains greenery, table décor, signage, and plenty of other decorations that our clients can use at no extra charge.

The Two Sisters Event Venue located in Downtown Franklin, Virginia is a 5000 sq. foot building that is a fresh and bright space decorated in hues of a neutral grey and blue. It has a very large banquet room with 20 60" round tables and 150 banquet chairs. In addition there is a buffet room with 6 rectangle tables, another separate room that can be used for a bridal room, photobooth, etc. We also include a Warming kitchen for your caterers to prepare your meals and bathrooms. We rent for all events, parties and business functions. We give you plenty of time to setup your events and offer tours for you to view the space in person.
