We are located in a scenic part of Newtown, in the southwestern part of Connecticut, only minutes away from the historical Newtown's Center and Flagpole. We are your destination resort without boarding a plane! You can park our car and celebrate all weekend long. We offer Rehearsal Dinners, Breakfast, Bar / Restaurant, Spa, Fitness, Pools, Hot Tubs and of course Hotel Guest Rooms. We have outdoor ceremony options in the stone garden or the vineyard and we always have a weather back up space in case the weather is not perfect. Timbers is our most popular rustic reception room. It can hold up to 200 guests and has 24' cathedral ceilings with exposed beams with lots of natural light overlooking our vineyard. Couples can take photos on our Golf Course while guests enjoy cocktail hour. After the wedding, everyone can go to the Tavern for the After party. After partying the night away, hit the elevator button and you can go right to your room. We typically host one wedding a day and have no set start time. This stunning property can host up to 250+ guests and features a gazebo for cocktail hour, spacious lawns for yard games, and new ceremony building! Wyndcrest Estate Venue is set up a bit differently, which is something we pride ourselves on! We are exclusive in the sense that we host only one wedding a weekend and we give wedding parties the entire weekend to enjoy their big day! This includes the day before for set up and rehearsal, the day of for the event, and the day after for cleanup. Additionally, onsite housing allows for the parties to gather throughout the entire weekend. We do not have a preferred list of caterers, in order to allow you to chose however you would like to celebrate your wedding. We also allow special requests such as dogs, bounce houses, mobile bars, etc.

HISTORY OF ROWSLEY The Scarsdale Woman's Club is headquartered in Rowsley, a 19th century manor house, set on almost four acres amid magnificent trees and plantings. The house was built in 1858 by William Bailey Lang, an English iron merchant. He fashioned it after a property in Derbyshire, England. Among the notable plantings on the site are the 470-year-old white oak tree and the massive rhododendron, both in the front of the property. Rowsley was named an Historic Landmark by the Village of Scarsdale in 1968, and in 2008, it was designated by the nation as a site on its National Register of Historic Places.
