From the moment we first visited The Beech Tree Cottages, we knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our special day. The location itself is absolutely stunning. The staff is outstanding. From the first meeting, all the way through to the big day, they were incredibly professional, friendly, and accommodating. Amanda and Liz went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of! The food was phenomenal—our guests are still talking about how delicious the venue catered BBQ was! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The Beech Tree Cottages gave us wonderful memories and helped make our wedding day unforgettable.

I photographed the wedding of one of the daughters of the family that owns Beech Tree Cottages in September 2019 and fell absolutely in love with this venue! It is such a magical corner of Connecticut that creates the perfect creative pallet for any couple planning their wedding. It has a unique history and the family behind the operation is so lovely. I highly recommend reaching out to see if Beech Tree Cottages is the perfect venue for you!

We are a seasonal outdoor venue. We do not book events on the off-season (November, December, January, February, March, April).

Yes, but we require event insurance for the weekend.

Yes, guests will be directed on where to park by our parking attendants. We do not provide valet services.

Yes and No. Unfortunately, due to the nature and age of our property our cottages are not wheelchair accessible. The outdoor event space includes a lawn and paved patio which is at ground level. Guests and vendors should be aware that they will spend time outside on the grass and in the weather.

We only book one wedding per weekend. Your guests are required to rent our cottages for the weekend (Friday and Saturday nights). The event space is available to you all day Saturday. We allow access Friday evening and Sunday morning for set-up and clean-up as needed.

Yes. As you will be providing alcohol for your guests, you are required to obtain event and liability insurance.

Our property is conveniently located on Route One/Boston Post Road off of exit 62 on I-95. We are approximately 2-2 1/2 hours from NYC and Boston. We are approximately 1 hour from Hartford.
