I started this business officially in January 2022 after unofficially starting it from my home making desserts and birthday cakes for friends and family. It quickly grew to the point I could no longer work my other job at the hotel I was working at, and had to choose between the two. I chose to take the leap of faith and embark on my own entrepreneurial journey.

Welcome. The story behind The Sweet Sicilian Bakery: Well first off, I love baking and creating beautiful art, but beyond that, this bakery is near and dear to my heart. This love may have started with my Dad's bakery we had growing up, Salvatore's Bread and Pizza Bakery. He made fresh Italian bread for many restaurants in our town! Also growing up in a large Sicilian family was something that was so special, there were so many gatherings and events happening all the time ( oh, and Sunday dinner at my Nonna's house every week, yum!) There was a lot of love, laughs, and FOOD! The most special and delicious treats were the Italian cookies!

Papa and his customized 1960 VW Ice Cream truck - The Groovymobile - serves a variety of everyone’s favorite, premium quality ice cream bars and frozen novelties at your event. Papa can serve up to 200 guests in about an hour! The Groovymobile’s rockin’ sound system can play any genres of music you’d like to hear during the ice cream service.
