I got my start in photography through campus publications in college, and have carried that photojournalistic approach into my work today. My wedding and lifestyle work has a somewhat documentary style, meaning that I seek to capture moments as they are naturally unfolding instead of directing events with my own vision. The Pavilion at Black Water Junction was built by our family, for our family. We used old wood, old doors, huge rocks, and live edge boards, all found on the farm. We decorated with special things from our family. All of this makes our venue a very special place that we would like to share with you!

Belle Garden Estate is a luxury, outdoor, historic wedding venue. We are located in Wirtz, VA. Just 25 minutes from Downtown Roanoke and 15 minutes from Smith Mountain Lake. Our covered pavilion can accommodate up to 200 guests and we offer overnight accommodations for up to 8 guests. We have beautiful mountain views, inviting gardens, and multiple scenic ceremony sites.
