The unique and historic Assembly Building, with its beautiful island setting, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is located on the sound front at Topsail Beach, NC and owned and operated by the Historical Society of Topsail Island. This historic building with a capacity of 250 people provides a perfect setting for any occasion!

The Historical Society of Topsail Island was an excellent choice for our wedding venue. Their communication throughout the planning process was efficient and effective, making the logistics easy to coordinate. The venue itself was spacious, versatile, and had a wonderful historic charm that our guests really enjoyed exploring during the cocktail hour. We were able to utilize the museum space to allow our guests to mingle and learn more about why we chose this unique location. The views from the venue were breathtaking, and the setup inside the building made it easy to have our food and bar service seamlessly integrated into the event.
