The Hummingbird Chateau has multiple indoor and outdoor options for both ceremony and reception. Included in the venue rental is barn wood tables, white farm house chairs for reception, antique white folding chairs for outdoor ceremonies and pews for indoor ceremonies. With many more rental options available depending on your vision for the "Big Day"! We are in the process of completing renovations to the barn and grounds, more pictures to come! “Recently hosted my May 2022 wedding at The Hummingbird Chateau and it was amazing! The farmhouse is gorgeous with full kitchen, additional sitting rooms, vanities for makeup/hair (an absolute game changer for day of getting ready) and bedrooms. Morning of wedding went seamlessly with all the amenities. The owners are the nicest human beings and really have an amazing eye for detail which can be seen throughout the whole venue. The option for their barnwood reception tables and wood chairs, as well as arbor was so convenient and was one less hassle for wedding planning. Truly an amazing venue and so grateful I could be one of the first brides to enjoy!”

Kelsey and her team were fantastic to work with - they were always responsive over email, which was our preferred method of communication. On the day-of, Kelsey went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. When a few small things were forgotten or misplaced, like a printed copy of our vows or a forgotten groomsman's Polaroid camera, Kelsey quickly handled it so we didn't have to worry. She brought in an extra camera, printed my vows for me, in addition to the missing marriage certificate. The venue itself is gorgeous, and Kelsey's attention to detail ensured our wedding was magical and unforgettable. I was so thrilled with the quality of food and service from every staff member. From the communication to the exceptional service, we were so grateful to have our wedding at the Box Hill Mansion. “I love The Barn at Blackstone National! Their outdoor pavillion is a gorgeous setting for wedding ceremonies & cocktail hours, rain or shine! This pavillion overlooks beautiful greenery, and in the autumn months the foliage creates a gorgeous backdrop. The outdoor fire pits make it even cozier at night time. Their indoor reception area is a beautifully built barn with delicious food & a spacious dance floor. Their event coordinator & wait staff are always a pleasure to work with. “I've drafted many versions of this review because it is so hard to do justice to the wedding experience we had with Historic Ashland (end of May 2024). From the minute we drove onto the property as prospective clients, to our exit at the end of our wedding night more than a year later, we had one fantastic interaction after the next with Leah, Amanda and team. I am a discerning person with extreme attention to detail, and I can honestly say that Historic Ashland is run flawlessly and with utmost respect and attention to their clients. From many months of planning to seeing it all come to life the day-of, I am still in awe of how perfect our day turned out. The property renovations were incredibly done with all modern amenities and events in mind, while maintaining the charm and historic qualities (not many 1800s barns out there that are immaculately clean with climate control!) We loved being able to have three separate feeling "events" on the property (ceremony outdoors under beautiful mature trees along a creek, cocktail hour on patio/lodge 1st floor, and dinner/dancing on lodge 2nd floor). Our guests traveled from far and wide, and everyone "got it" as soon as they arrived at Ashland - they saw what a truly unique and special place it is! Furthermore, Ashland's relationships with the vendor community gave us so many options to create a custom experience that was beyond what we could have hoped for. It is so common these days to be slightly underwhelmed by things, and I can say without a doubt Historic Ashland, their team, and all of the vendors completely exceeded our expectations. We couldn't be more appreciative, and choosing this as our venue was the absolute best decision. Our family & friends are still raving about it being the best wedding they've been to - and we agree!
