Awarded Best of Zola
I was very pleased with my experience with Something Borrowed Blooms! The flowers were quality silk, unlike typical fake flowers these felt and even smelled like flowers!! I enjoyed not having to waste flowers the day after our wedding, I could send them back in for the next bride! If I had not gone with something borrowed we likely would have make our own flower arrangements. I was nervous about not knowing how those would look until the day of. I loved knowing EXACTLY what my flowers would look like on my wedding day. They were gorgeous! The customer service was never lacking! My shipment was delayed by a day but the team was quick to respond to my nerves insuring me they would over night a replacement box if needed. We highly recommend!

Poppy was just what I wanted for our wedding! I very quickly and easily found the flowers I loved and wanted and it was all online or over the phone! Anna, the floral expert assigned to our order, was very responsive and when we had our meeting with her, she was very helpful in making sure we were ordering exactly what we wanted. I absolutely loved the blush traditional bouquet for me and my bridesmaids and the blush romantic garden flower clouds. The clouds were PERFECT to top each of the wine barrels that served as our altar. We were complimented a lot on the clouds. Overall, could not have been happier with Poppy. I would highly recommend for your wedding!

We worked with Deniege at Alto Floral Designs for our wedding on September 21, 2024, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! Deniege was a dream to work with—creative, professional, and incredibly reliable. She provided my bridal bouquet, the groom’s boutonniere, bridesmaids’ bouquets, wrist corsages for the moms and grandma, and stunning table arrangements. After reviewing our wedding timeline, she even included a free toss bouquet, which was such a thoughtful and generous touch! Throughout the planning process, Deniege’s communication was excellent—emails were answered quickly, making it so easy to finalize details and feel confident about everything. The payment process was straightforward and stress-free, which we really appreciated during the busy planning period. Deniege also offered practical, budget-friendly suggestions, like re-using the bridesmaid bouquets as table arrangements during the reception, helping us maximize our budget without sacrificing elegance. The flowers were absolutely stunning, and her attention to detail shone through in every arrangement. On the day of the wedding, everything was delivered to the correct location right on time, and her team came back at the end of the night to pick everything up promptly. Deniege’s timeliness and reliability gave us so much peace of mind on such a busy day. If you’re looking for a florist who is talented, flexible, and easy to work with, we highly recommend Deniege at Alto Floral Designs. Evanston Lands

5.0

  • Starts at $275
  • Serves Prospect Heights, IL

In 2020, we grew cut flowers in two Evanston yards. The hope was to sell weekly bouquets to our neighbors, with all proceeds going to Connections for the Homeless. The endeavor was a success and we had a great season. We then expanded to a vacant lot on Gross Point Rd. An abundance of sun and soil remediation has made the lot healthy and productive, and added beauty to a very busy corner. We offer subscriptions, workshops, and event florals. Couples interested in playing a part in the design of their wedding florals can work with us to DIY their special day or even use our lovely studio to create with family and friends.

Jen did the flowers for our wedding and she was absolutely fantastic to work with. Our huppah was so special, especially because she had either grown the flowers herself or sourced them locally. Jen is a perfect combination of easygoing and intense. We loved figuring out together how our vision would best work in flowers and decor. Jen was a gentle guide, responsive to feedback, and always looking for new and fun ways to create an incredible atmosphere. We knew we were in good hands, but we couldn't have predicted just how spectacular the flowers would be. Great experience, beautiful results. Thank you, Jen!

I used to live in Evanston and relied on Saville for all my special occasions. When it came to planning my wedding, I knew that head floral designer Mark was the only person for my floral vision! He graciously agreed to fly down and cater to our wedding in Fort Myers, Florida. Mark went above and beyond to make our wedding decor outstanding. He took on much more than just a florist role- he basically stepped in and became the day-of coordinator. He is a natural!! I hadn't hired a wedding planner, and Mark basically took it upon himself to be that person. It was amazing, and I would highly recommend his services. As far as the flowers go- I will let the photos speak for themselves. The spread was absolutely stunning and even beyond what I had in mind. Mark met my vision and then added to it! I never would have thought of the fresh fruit on the tables, but it really brought such a pop of life and freshness to our early Spring wedding! The complimenting candles were also his idea, and it made the space glow beautifully when the sun went down. Best of all was my bridal arrangement. As you can see, it was the highlight of every photo. THANK YOU MARK AND SAVILLE!! Because of you, my wedding day was brighter. I cannot recommend this team highly enough for their professionalism, artistic vision, creativity, and commitment to your big day!

My daughter’s wedding was last Friday and it was absolutely perfect. We ordered flowers a few weeks before the wedding and got our first box no problem. The second box with the rest of the order was coming from a different location and UPS made a mistake with our address. If made me so nervous and I thought we are not going to have time to put flowers together but luis stepped in and resolved this situation very professionally. We got our flowers the same day and I can’t thank him enough for acting quickly and being incredibly helpful all they way. All of the flowers that came in looked great. My friend getting married in a few month and I would highly recommend Moxie Flowers to him and everyone who is having a wedding or any other event. A!!!

We used Bunny as our florist and wedding coordinator - it couldn't have gone better! Our interaction first with Bunny began with a lovely and in depth meeting about our hopes for flowers at our wedding. After walking through some questions, we ended our meeting and then Bunny sent a Flower Preview entailing all we had discussed with other options as well. This preview was set up like a power point with photos from the bride's bouquet to the flowers for the arch, boutonnières, and more! After finalizing every detail and being in constant communication, she sent over a Google Doc in order to fill out information about our wedding, vendors, rehearsals, etc. When the day of my wedding came, all I had to do was set out any decor I wanted to use and as my bridal party, mom, and I all got ready with snacks and drinks she provided, Bunny was furiously decorating the ceremony and reception space. By the time we were done getting ready, the space was complete and BEAUTIFUL! The day could not have gone smoother - as a bride, I was actually relaxed! As the ceremony continued, Bunny worked with my DJ, photographer, and videographer to make sure everything was as it should be. When my food arrived, the caterers had not brought the chicken (one of two main courses). Bunny took care of it by calling the vendor, letting me know it's getting taken care of, and even made an announcement to guests that the chicken was late. Even when something wrong, Bunny made everything feel right. I am incredibly thankful for her help, calm demeanor, and advice she offered along the way. You couldn't choose a better florist or coordinator for your wedding or event! 100 out of 5 stars 3
