They were a little bit out of our budget, but we decided to book them anyways and cut back on other things and let me tell you ...they were worth every single penny!!! He listened to every request we had leading up and I truly didn't think about a thing during the wedding day - he had our timeline completely under control and kept us on track (and if we were running behind I still have no idea because he's that good!!). “Hiring Mike as our wedding DJ was one of the best decisions we made!! From our first meeting, Mike was professional and friendly, providing us with a lot of information and answering all of our questions. After we booked with him, he set up an easy-to-use app for us to select our songs, write notes about the reception, and communicate any special instructions. It helped us keep track of what to prepare and how to plan the timeline of our day since we didn't have a wedding planner. Mike also came to an in person meeting with our venue so he could be prepared for the wedding day, and he was completely set up and ready when we arrived for cocktail hour and dinner. His knowledge and passion for many genres of music was evident from the get go, he was both personable and professional, and he had a genuine enthusiasm for our event. As someone who had a strong vision of the vibe I wanted for our wedding reception, planning the playlist with DJ D-Mac felt like the true collaborative process of my dreams. He took my must play/do not play lists and ran with them, making additional suggestions and unique mixes. He went above and beyond the call of duty in helping troubleshoot sound-related issues with the venue, making lighting suggestions, and even helping us find an excellent karaoke vendor for our after party. His personal style and the style of his DJ setup were sleek, cool, and a little retro, which only added to the wedding aesthetic. Most importantly, DJ D-Mac had an uncanny ability to read the dance floor and know which songs would keep people moving, seamlessly weaving together an eclectic dream mix of everything from '60s soul, disco, '90s R&B, and even Dolly Parton. “We hired 24K Event Band for our long-postponed COVID wedding this March (2022). They were phenomenal in every way. From the very beginning, Jill, the band leader, made the experience very easy. “Kelton from Marquee Artists is awesome - he killed it dj-ing for the clients, the dance floor was non-stop going nuts the whole time! His demeanor is super low-key and easy going, and he was very easy to work with, which means a lot in this field.
